Tried Calesa when in town visiting family, great experience! You could tell everything was fresh. It was all great, but the salsa was best I’ve had! Chips were crispy & only lightly salted, unlike most other restaurants where you’re scraping off excess salt! Had a good dessert selection also. Waitress was very attentive. Restaurant was clean. Definitely plan on coming back when we’re in town.

Horrible experience. There was only three other tables and it took us more than an hour to get our food not one single order was correct. The enchiladas came out with the wrong sauce. We ordered three street tacos. They gave us two and after another 15 minutes, they brought out the last dish. It was supposed to be beef with potatoes. They forgot the potatoes. Not a single apology just bad service and bland food.

Calesa’s is amazing. My husband and I have been here twice in one week. The food is so fresh and the restaurant is clean. Waitresses are fun and attentive. We can’t wait to come back next week. So far we ordered enchiladas, flautas, shrimp tacos and street tacos. Everything we have ordered has been excellent. The dessert is also made fresh and it’s good! You have to try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

This place was super disappointing. Every time I drive by it’s packed so I assumed it had to be good. I’m thinking it’s always packed because of the lack of options. I ordered the torta & my husband got the chilaquiles. Since when does chilaquiles not come with meat or eggs? You have to order both as extras. The chicken in the torta was literally canned chicken. The rice tasted like water. My food came out wrong & nobody was ver came to check on it. I just didn’t eat it. I had to actually walk to the front before anyone tried to give me a check or see how it was going. There were two people working & my server wasn’t even the one who walked up, the girl walks up and said “was something wrong with your food” I just said yes but now I don’t have time to wait so I’d like to check out. Not worth it to even stop

The food was actually pretty good. The quesabirria was very good, as was the elote. The servers were “nice” but inattentive and slow.
The * is becasue upon checkout all of our items were more expensive than the menu price. Up to almost $2 on our main entree. The person who checked us out said she wished she could tell us why. But, she didn’t know. “Sometimes people ask that”. Really? And no one asks”Why?”
My entire experience was shot after that. Definitely would not return.

Calera provides a good mix of authentic and Tex-Mex cuisine. The dining room and bathroom sparkled. The chips and salsa were as delicious delicious as was the rest of our meals. For my preference, the consistency of the refried beans were a bit runny, but still had a good flavor. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Calesa.
