Daughters spent 16+ days in the hospital, and the staff in this kitchen and cashiers are just nasty. Rude and just act like you’re inconveniencing them all by needing food. The food is definitely a hit or miss. The pork chops are tough and like jerky. The pasta bake was so much spice it was inedible. It looked great, but it was not. But the whole staff needs new jobs they might actually enjoy doing. I’m not sure why they need to be rude and nasty to people who are already having a tough time being stuck here. Just going down there makes me sick. The heavy guy who does the salad bar is the rudest man I’ve ever encountered there. Not one pleasant person in sight.

The food in the cafeteria is lacking in palatability. I don’t know how mashed potatoes cannot turn out good but, it has happened every time. See the picture to see how solidified they were. I can’t even describe how bad they taste. The food brought to the room was always ice cold and looked horrible.

The food is over priced. I do not mind paying food that taste good. This is not the case at Nortons cafeteria. I know it’s not going to taste like home cooked. However some of the meats are dried out and hard from being over cooked or left under heat lamps too long. There should be a time limit on how long you keep food under heat lamps. The only thing consistently good are the French fries.

Staff is unprofessional. Loudly yelling and swearing. We were kicked out before we finished our meals. Fast food would have been a better option.

I was pretty satisfied with the food for the most part. Especially, the tenders. My issue is that one of the employees (older African American gentleman) is super freaking rude. He was rude to me because I was waiting around for a menu to be put up because I didn’t know the prices nor did I know what combos I could get. I told him that after he got rude and he stated he didn’t know either with even more of an attitude. I’ve also witnessed him get rude with other customers and even a coworker the first night I stayed here. Very unprofessional. Enjoy the food but don’t expect any kinda hospitality when they open up at 11pm.

It was great. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and it was extraordinary. Comparing this to the food on campus, it’s far better in both quality and the price. I love how crazily crispy the fries were.
