Joined family for a first visit to Margaritas. It’s more pricey than the current online menu advertises. The queso was excellent. Salsa was good, heavy on onion for those who may need to know. Steak tacos were very good. They were heavy on cilantro so I’d ask for less or none next time. Place was packed which understandably affected service a bit. Great atmosphere and good food.

It looked like they were short staffed. We were seated immediately, but there was a lengthy wait between everything, including getting chips and salsa at the beginning. It took a long time to get our food and ticket to leave also. Every worker in there was running, literally. The after church crowd is a busier and bigger crowd, but that should be expected for a Sunday.

I got the California burrito for 12.99. Huge and filled with steak shrimp and chicken. Very polite workers. Great quality of food and one of the cheapest prices for this much food.

Ordered two jumbo margaritas, 15.99 each and one was half the size of the other. When we pointed it out they told us all the glasses are different…..um nope. Half the size.

Restaurant was dirty. Food smears on the back of chairs. The salsa was the worst I’ve ever had. A can of tomatoes with cilantro. No jalapeños. No spice at all. My taco salad had water in the bottom. Our waitress was great. Very nice, friendly, attentive.

Ordered chicken enchilada with white sauce, got red. B4 we realized order was wrong waiter was gone and didn’t return in a timely enough fashion to correct. List goes on. Tip to wait staff. Give cash change back with some $1 bills. Returning cash back without $1 bills is presumptuous and irritating.

Our server wasn’t good at all. We waited over 10 minutes for a to go box. There were 6 of us but there were 3 separate checks and each one added an 18% tip without us knowing. We asked and were told it was automatic for parties over 6 and that it was on the menu. I’m not saying that’s not true we just didn’t see it. Then on top of that they charged us a 2% service fee for using a card to pay. I have never experienced this at a restaurant.
