NVP is open to the public for dining. NVP has a large banquet hall for seating with tables spaced out for a safe environment. Serving hours: Monday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Thursday through Sunday is 11 am to 8 pm. Bar is open after kitchen is closed but no food will be available.

Merrill, Wisconsin’s brand new VFW Post has been a long time coming, almost too long, but it has been worth the wait. The building is beyond beautiful. It has a large hall. The bar is a very generous size. Parking is ample. And now they are able to offer food! Come here for your next Friday Night Fish Fry or any other day of the week for some tasty vittles. Check website for times before you go. ❤

Really nice, new building. The poor man’s Cajun fish was delicious. So good, we returned on Saturday for the prime rib, which was also delicious! We had a great time talking with the bartender, cook, and customers. We’ll definitely stop in again when we’re in the area.

Went to bingo and ordered food twice to be disappointed. First time our chicken tenders were very dry, French fries were raw and crunchy, and the batter on our cheese curds was under cooked and doughy. Last night we thought we would give it another try. We ordered the BLT with fries and onion rings. Again the fries were raw and crunchy, the BLT was just a dry lettuce and bacon sandwich with no tomatoes or mayo. Would have taken back to kitchen but couldn’t in the middle of bingo. On the upside the onion rings were delicious.

To start this review I would like to thank the people who have served our country! thank you for all you have done, the food here is fantastic I personally will be coming here more often I normally don’t do that with places like this but I can’t get enough of this wonderful food and the service is like family the staff is very friendly and go above and beyond, the location is somber but beautiful and gives the atmosphere a lively community feel, the fish fry is wonderful the last bite is just as wonderful as the last, the cheese curds are better than any fair curds

Waitress was very friendly and personable. The food was delicious. Only issue I had was the walleye I ordered had not been deboned. I know it’s walleye, but when the majority of the customers are older they may end up lodging one in their throat. That’s the only concern I have.
