Great catering! We ordered two three foot subs: the Italian and the Lumberjack. Both were packed with meat and made beautifully! We also ordered a half tray of Ziti and buffalo wings. All was put together perfectly and tasted amazing. Love this place! Will definitely order catering from there again!

Just ordered from Uber eats and it was a truly disappointing experience. First. They made my bagel sandwhich on a roll. And the sandwhich was ice cold. The hash browns tasted old and left over we can’t even eat them. We spilled out the ice team. It tased stale. Just really upsetting to pay $50 for breakfast and not be able to eat anything. We wrote in uber eats and they refunded $2. Big deal. Just really disappointing. Now we still need breakfast.

This place is going down hill. They’re incredibly pricey and the quality of the food is terrible. The chicken was very rubbery. They also consistently make mistakes with my orders and the staff are kind of gross.. they wipe their faces, touch money, touch everything around the place and then prepare your food. I will say, i saw them put on new gloves… and then touch everything again!
Parking is also crazy now that you can’t use the lot next door. Expect your stay to be 10+ minutes longer if you happen to get boxed in.
I’d say Northside is better but it’s not. I started coming here because they were awful! There’s no good, affordable, Delis left in Northport.

We Used to come here all the time when I was a kid and we came back for the holidays and idk what happened…we ordered two egg sandwiches both had eggshells cooked inside of the egg 🙁 one sandwich we asked for bacon and hot sauce and it was just omitted completely (the wrapper says what was supposed to be inside) so the sandwich had only egg and cheese. It’s sad, this place used to be so good. We spent almost $20 for two egg sandwiches that were not what we asked for. The eggshells feel like a health code violation

Quality and selection at this place has gone way down since I was in high school (10yrs ago).
They used to be a legendary deli with great food and a great special called the Lumberjack we all loved.
I recently ordered through Ubereats a few times and the sandwich was lackluster – I actually thought I must have ordered from a different deli with a similar name.
Stopped in today to get a bagel and they now only offer plain cream cheese and something like three kinds of bagels.
I also saw a lot of similar one star reviews here and agree, it seemed dirtier, run less well, and the staff was not nearly as welcoming.
I don’t know how much the rest of the sandwiches have changed but it was disappointing and I won’t be coming back.
This is NYS, even better lower NY. How do you run a deli with only 3 types of bagels and just plain cream cheese? It was also on a Saturday morning around 9:30am, prime bagel time.
Between the taxes, housing market, and loss of lower NY staples like a good quality bagel I’m starting to wonder what the benefit of staying here is. Sad.

This deli has a score of a 4.1 I know from experience it should be much lower than that.The new owner says he is doing this for fun ,he has no idea what’s going on in his deli .They don’t make your sandwichs with any thought of caring how the sandwich looks sloppy mess most of the time .I asked for a heart healthy breakfast I saw the guy frying the veggies for the omelet ,that’s crazy .Also do not get the French toast they fried them in the frier.I have never seen that before .Steam table food never fresh reused over and over for 4 days the short ribs in the case sit there for 3 or4 weeks .Also I caught the owner scratching his feet will he was making a sandwich I was beside myself .behind that counter crazy things go on stay away .Now the help the girl there is nasty to customers ,gets orders wrong and doesn’t care she says oh well .Your paying all this money for oh well .Listen stay clear of this place go a little further east about a block there is a very clean deli and or bagel place that is so much cleaner and they care about there customers .Maybe 2 stars in being generous.Run from this place .Good luck .

I never mind paying for good food but this is the second time in a row the food was bad and over expensive. The last time i ever buy food here. Why write down the order if you cant get it right. Second the lumberjack was the worst one i ever had. Not a chicken cutlet but what seemed like the chicken scraps from the end of the day. Considering my order came within 5 dollars of what i spent at the candlelight diner the night before and got drinks included side salad and an appitizer. I will never spend a dime here again. I guess the rumors are true. This place went downhill

Way too expensive for the quality. Been here multiple times and overheard employees being short and plain rude to customers while serving overpriced less than average deli food. Charged $2 more for avocado that was literally brown. And the blonde woman taking an older man’s order today was incredible rude over and over again doing “what do you want what do you want” like give the man a second? The store wasn’t even busy. Went in today saying this was their “last shot” and won’t be back. This nasty wrap was $15 made by a rude employee. Multiple other delis 5 minutes or less away from this one- go there instead.

Order a chicken cutlet sandwich with bacon. Chicken was cold and severely undercooked. Cheese not melted, just slapped on the roll. Not to mention they charge $16 and change for a chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll. Better options in the area.

Forced to use them for a funeral luncheon by the rental hall. Everything was fine until they changed the price at the last minute (increased by $10 per person) and threw in a 12% ‘set up fee’ that I was never told about. The food was fine and the server was good but the cost left a bad taste in my mouth. Will never use them again.
