Most dishes I tried are well executed and authentic and many cannot be found anywhere else in the Twin Cities. I enjoyed everything I ordered. It can be hard to figure out what’s what from the menu.

The owner/server(s) were really kind to me. They don’t check in that often but I prefer to eat in peace so I do appreciate that. I felt like I could ask anytime if anything is needed.

This is one of those low key hidden gem restaurants that serve authentic food without a doubt, because it’s not only difficult to locate, but also relatively exclusive in terms of its clientele. I enjoyed everything I have had here so far and definitely appreciated the authentic aspect of the food they have. The only improvement I could suggest was the taste of a lot of their dishes, as flavors tended to be on the mild side. It doesn’t mean their food is any less authentic, though, and I would recommend all that are looking for authentic Chinese food to visit here.

Individually, I ordered dishes that I would normally order in Chinese restaurants, so while I am not sure if there’s anything I can necessarily recommend yet, I will say that I thought every dish I have had were above average in comparison to the same dishes I have had elsewhere. My favorite so far is the fried pork in scoop (锅包肉) and I don’t even regularly eat pork. There was a nice layer of sweetness and sourness witht the sauce outside the pork pieces. The vegetable dishes like eggplant in garlic sauce (鱼香茄子), green beans with garlic (干煸四季豆), and Chinese cabbage (手撕包菜) are all tasty enough. The Chinese cabbage contained a lot of vinegar, and I bet some people would enjoy that. I didn’t taste enough cumin in the cumin lamb (孜然羊肉) dish, but there was an abundant amount of lamb and I appreciated it. The spicy pepper chicken (辣子鸡) was very delicious and had the right amount of spice in my opinion.

There is a Relaxing Healthy Center that’s connected to the restaurant and apparently that establishment has been very popular, especially in the evenings. I have not visited there yet but I heard that it was similar to saunas in China, and I would love to visit there soon. Regardless, this is a hidden gem, hole in the wall, type of spot and I would definitely recommend everyone.

This is my favorite authentic chinese restaurant in the area. Especially known for their szechuan food / dry pot!

Everything is so good, and there are many vegetarian options too that are top notch (mapo tofu, dry pot cauliflower – my favorite, eggplant in garlic sauce, green beans w garlic).

Warning: their “crispy glazed shrimp” and “dry pot seafood” are served as unpeeled shrimp. So if you’re not used to eat cooked shrimp w/ shell or too lazy to peel, I would avoid these dishes!

Everything else are bangers!

Hidden gem, so hard to find and usually not busy. Ambience is very peaceful and relaxing (actually it’s connected to a great asian style spa!). Well worth a visit!

We really enjoyed our food here, so much so we went twice in a week! The food is delicious and flavorful. I think this is the best Chinese food I have had in the metro. I like the interior and adore the health spa. We will be returning!! They had a nice variety on the menu, a mix of familiar and new to me. Very nice portion sizes. We had a nut allergy at the table and had no issues

UPDATED: the food here is still good and the price is getting back to normal!

Update-1: the restaurant has raised their prices by around $2 per dish. I have to downgrade the rating not just because of the pricing, but also because the quality of their dishes has been going south. Like the grilled fish, the size of fish was getting smaller and smaller whenever we ordered that! The business owner needs to improve it before getting no return customers!

We went with friends and the foods are pretty delicious. The spicy food can be really ️

On a Saturday at 11:30 am, we arrived at the restaurant and found that we had the entire place to ourselves. The interior was spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light. Our server was friendly and helpful, answering all my questions about the menu. We ordered dumplings, general tao’s chicken, shrimp fried rice, and beef fried noodles (lo mein). Every dish was fantastic! Unlike most Chinese food that can make you feel heavy and bloated, the flavors were light and delicious. We were impressed with the quality of the food; the shrimp fried rice had large, fresh shrimp, and lo mein noodles were cooked perfectly. I know this place is a hit or miss from previous reviews but give it a chance yourself. We highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family and will definitely be returning. We hope that it will be around for many years to come!

I had to mention their spicy pepper chicken and Kung Pao chicken that we tried the other day! I’m so happy I asked the server what her favorite dish was- spicy pepper chicken isn’t as spicy as it looks and packs so much flavor and crispiness! The Kung Pao was very light and fresh!

What a find! The food is delicious and very generous portions (made to be family style). The spicy pepper chicken was spicy, flavorful, and the crispy schezuan peppers add the perfect punch. Definitely a 5 star Chinese restaurant.

The dining experience here was very disappointing. The environment is just average, but what really stood out—in a bad way—was the poor service. The staff kept pushing us to order more dishes, which felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The food itself was also underwhelming: ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and the flavors were very mediocre. When it came time to pay, they insisted on adding a tip and didn’t even offer a customizable tip option. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I definitely won’t be coming back.

Authentic Chinese cuisine at a very affordable price. We have visited this place many times, and the staff has always been very friendly to us. Highly recommended.

First-time diners will likely miss this place—there’s no visible sign outside, which honestly sets the tone. The menu is old and greasy, the shrimp tastes long-frozen, and the sweet and sour pork has more batter than meat. Cold rice, undercooked vegetables, long waits, and an 18% tip expectation that’s completely unjustified. And be warned—skipping the tip will definitely get you an uncomfortable follow-up. No photos included—they’re not worth showing either.
