This is a hidden gem! Great atmosphere and the beer is cold, almost as cold as the American legion. I was there two years ago and I return and the owner remembered me from two years ago this is a very friendly place so if your in the area do yourself a favor swing by and enjoy the good vibes.

Wow! This is exactly what I was looking for when I was on foot looking for a dark place to hide out in for a little while. This is more than likely going to be my new dive bar and when I say dive bar I mean the old school definition: Not taking my lady here or anybody I want to impress and going here when I’m looking to disappear for a couple rounds. I can tell this place has been here for a long long time. It’s a literal time capsule inside. When I walked in I had to take a minute and look around before I bellied up next to the live action cast of King of the Hill. I say that with respect because a lot of times I would rather sit with the old timers and hear a story or two than be ignored by cliques of kids who are in public but only talk to each other. I live for the social fabric of a good pub and this place will satisfy that.
I can’t believe there is so much old bar gear in this place and I mean old. This bar could be a museum if it’s not already. I love it.
But don’t go there. There’s not a whole lot of bar stools and I wanna make sure I can get one. But you can dip in and grab a 1/2 pint of Popov if ya like. They sling packaged goods too.

Jim’s liquor store is the only one I stop into anymore. Jim is the nicest gentleman iv ever met, love stopping in just to chat with him, lol. Prices aren’t too bad, especially when you figure he’s a small business. He’s got the cheapest cig around as well as great prices on everything else.

It was awful and Petty I went there after work I brought a miniature which was a dollar 65 I only had $2.65 I gave him what I had $2.65 and I told him the other dollar let me play a lottery ticket for 50/50 he tells me that I only gave him $2 and he gave me change from the $2 and that he needed a dollar for my lottery ticket he straight out lied stole my dollar and made a scene.. I will never ever patronize his business again and I will tell others about what I just experienced you can’t be a drunk and try to run a business. And to try and get people out of change is ridiculous
