Stopped in with family and the service here was good, staff was attentive and the pace of the meal worked well for a group. Several of us ordered the blackened tenderloin tips; they were dry and a bit overcooked, and served with a cheese dipping sauce that didn’t quite fit the dish for us. That said, the kids really enjoyed their meals and the kiddie cocktails, which made it a fun family stop. Worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for a casual family dinner.

Steph was our server she did great gave great recommendations. Got the tenderloin medallions which were a little rare but still very delicious with the Brussel sprouts. One of my friends took me out and she’s a very picky eater and loves their French onion soup. Definitely would come back

Great fish fry on Fridays! The perch was light and super crispy, fries are fine but nothing special. Our server was friendly but service was a bit slow. Would still recommend, seems like a nice spot in Brookfield.

Friday night in Wisconsin, which means Fish Fry! Took my wife and I had the fried cod, she had the pan seared cod. Both come with coleslaw and potato pancakes. The fried fish was lightly breaded and fried to perfection, light and flaky. The homemade tartar sauce was the best tartar sauce I think I’ve ever tasted. My wife’s pan seared Cod was also cooked to perfection, nice crust on the outside, lite, flaky, and tender on the inside. We both agree we loved the potato pancakes and would come back for them alone! We didn’t have reservations so we sat in the bar area and had very good service and nice atmosphere. We also liked the zucchini and eggplant appetizers. Great place to stop for date or anytime. Maybe make a reservation on busy nights.

Did not offer curbside delivery despite gratuity on a pick up order. Ordered the gouda burger (rare) received it well done and dry. My sweet potato fries were cold, soggy, and unseasoned. I used to love coming here but I will not return.

We had a baby shower for my daughter here last month and it was spectacular!! The people who helped us were so patient, friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was very affordable, as well. We were absolutely delighted with the whole experience. Thank you to all there who made it possible!

This is the one place I always go to for business lunches, or lunch with good friends. The food is always very good. I little pricey, but standard for the area. It can get pretty busy, and can be a little loud when it’s crowded. The homemade pizzas are fantastic, as are the salads. It’s a good, continental menu.

I completely forgot I needed to write review. Probably because we went the week before Thanksgiving and my appetite soon shifted to Mom’s turkey and all the fixins.
The atmosphere at North Start is pleasant and warm. None of that awful, ultra-modern, exposed ceiling garbage that is both ugly and allows for far too much noise to travel freely. I like the varied dining areas as well versus a single large room.
Service was excellent. Great timing between courses. Very friendly and helpful server. As I said it’s been a few weeks so even if I DID remember to GET her name, it no longer resides within my brain. She was just lovely though.
The food was just delicious. I don’t remember what everyone else ordered, but I still drool over the pictures of mine. I started with a cup of Creamy Mushroom Soup and then had the Beef Short Rib for my entree. It was all so tasty with a beautiful presentation. The soup came with a crostini which dipped real nice. The bread was like a rosemary ciabatta. Very hearty, very tasty, and paired well with the beef and mashed potatoes. I took an order home it’s so good. I enjoyed my dinner so much that I would go back and have the exact same thing.
