North South Grill is hands down one of those places that instantly earns a spot in your regular rotation. From the first bite, it’s clear this isn’t just another neighborhood grill—it’s a place where real care, skill, and passion go into every plate. I can confidently say they serve the best bacon cheeseburger I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor, with crispy bacon and melted cheese that complement the burger without overpowering it. Every bite was exactly what a great burger should be.

The buffalo chicken sandwich is just as impressive. Crispy, tender chicken coated in a bold, flavorful buffalo sauce with just the right amount of heat, balanced perfectly by the toppings and bun. It’s messy in the best way and absolutely addictive. You’ll find yourself thinking about it long after you’ve finished.

And the hand-cut fries—wow. Golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. You can taste the difference when fries are made fresh, and these are on another level. Easily some of the best fries around.

A huge shoutout to Terry, who is truly a master of his craft. His dedication and attention to detail show in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. North South Grill isn’t just about great food—it’s about consistency, pride, and delivering an outstanding experience every single time. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

We just left North South Grill after having visited there for the first time. It’s Saturday night December 13th, 2025.
Never having before ever experienced a Smashburger in any form, that is what I ordered. I ordered the double blue cheese Smashburger and man oh man! That has got to be one of the tastiest Burgers that has ever passed between my lips in all my 65 years of walking this planet. The fries were equally as impressive.
I met Kat and Terry the owners, both real nice people so if you are in the mood for an amazing burger, you owe it to yourself to come on out. My son ordered a large steak sub and was equally impressed.

Came here because I wanted a really good burger. Had really great reviews and decided to try it out. I didn’t have the best experience. Bacon was way too crispy for me. Crispy like hard bacon bits. They added condiments that I didn’t ask for to my burger and then left off a topping that was included. Fries were lukewarm, had to send back for fresh ones. My husband’s burger was also made incorrectly with the wrong cheese type. Maybe this night was just rough for those in the kitchen. Place was clean. The employees were nice and had great attitudes during ordering and when expressing issues about food order.

I’ve tried several different items from this restaurant — from the amazing smash burgers, cheesesteaks, salads, and mahi, to the juicy and crispy chicken tenders. There’s a wide variety to choose from, and every single item has its own unique flavor.

If you hadn’t noticed, my personal favorite would have to be the spicy powdered chicken strips (unofficial name, lol).

The service has been consistently great during all my visits. Not only is the kitchen clean, but the dining area and restrooms are always spotless. To top it all off, they play great music that makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

I’d heard about North South Grille from a Burger Beast review a few years back, so when I was in the area I had to stop by. Walking in, it felt like an old-school sub shop that had a little bit of everything on the menu—burgers, fresh fries, gyros, subs, chicken tenders, and more.

Whenever I’m visiting a place for the first time, I like to order it the way they intend, so I went with a double cheeseburger ($10.99), made it a combo for $6.99, and upgraded my fries to Greek fries for another $2.50. At first, I thought it was on the pricier side, but I was completely wrong once the food came out. They give you a ton of fries, and the Greek fries in particular were loaded to the point of almost being too much—in a good way. They layered them with toppings (tzatziki sauce, cheese, herbs, and other gyro-style add-ons), then more fries, then more toppings again. Easily one of the more satisfying loaded fry options I’ve had in a while. And to top it off, they have Coke Zero, which is always a big plus for me.

As for the burger, it’s a smash style and overall pretty solid. Next time I’d skip the lettuce and tomato, since I don’t think those belong on a smash burger. Just sauce, pickles, and maybe onions would make it shine more. My only real critique is the bun—it was dense and didn’t bring much to the table. A softer potato roll or brioche bun would really elevate the burger and fit the style better.

All things considered, for the portions, flavor, and price, I was more than happy with the meal. North South Grille is definitely a spot I’d come back to, and next time I’ll probably branch out into some of the other items on their menu.

Super simple food, and they have the guts to set minimum tip to 17%, when no one is serving you. The food is ok if you are hungry but a small sub and a salad at $47 (incl mandatory 17% tip) is not worth it.

The food was good but putting greasy steak sandwich & burger on a non paper sheet on the tray just pooled the grease with the bread had to put napkins under to soak it up.
The woman at the counter perfect: took and confirmed our order and asked me to check the screen as well. Perfect. My dad asked for no tomatos, no sauce no pickles no lettuce. Meaning only onions on his cheese burger.. he got tomatoes and no onions so the people cooking and preparing don’t understand how to read the special request. Please see image.

Absolutely incredible steak sandwich—perfectly juicy steak, melted cheese, and packed with flavor in every bite. The hand-cut fries were crispy, golden, and clearly made fresh. Their craft beer selection is top-notch, with something for every palate. This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and a chill, satisfying beer to go with it.

At first glance, very similar to Burger Fi or Five Guys. Main difference is burgers are smashed thin and menu is more diverse. Soft fresh bun and standard toppings of lettuce, tomato, pickle, thin sliced onions and special sauce helped make the single patty super delicious. Onion rings took about 5 minutes longer than the burger but was worth the wait. Highly recommend asking for a side of North South sauce for dipping.

This hidden gem has high quality food all over the menu. The smash burgers are the best in the state. The chicken tenders are restaurant quality. Portions are huge and the staff is super friendly. The owners are hands on and you will not be disappointed.
