This is the best place to have authentic mexican food! Excellent variety.
Service: They are super attentive and quick response.
Food: Very delicious food. We specially like eating Fish Taco.
Drink: They have good variety of drink options and the cost is very competetive.
Every day they have specials.
If I need to eat mexican food, this is my first choice in Elgin and nearby area.

I had 3 steak tacos with cilantro and onion added cheese n their green sauce , perfect exactly what I wanted and hoped for.
My wife had the Jr burrito, chimichanga style which was done perfectly.

I’ve had burritos a few times. Good, but don’t care for the $1.49 ‘convenience fee’ that’s folded into the sales tax line item.
For the love of G-d, just tell me what the actual burrito costs. I don’t really care if a beef burrito is $10 or $11.49. Well worth the higher price, imo, but the subterfuge feels disrespectful.

This used to be our go to spot for delicious Mexican food. However the last few visits the food has been a little lackluster. Also there is $$$ upcharge for everything. $4.50 for extra chips. They used to bring 5 bottles of their hot sauces to the table – now they only bring 2. When hubby asked for one of the ones they used to have, the waitress brought it to the table and then we were charged for it. Plus it was a watered down version of what it was before. Not sure what happened, they seem to have lost their way. They used to be delicious and affordable now not so much. Not sure we’ll be back.

tldr: Hands down best tacos in the Midwest. I’ve been coming here for Taco Tuesday for over a decade and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, good selection, authentic street-style tacos.

Bonus: don’t forget to ask for the spicy ghost pepper and carolina reaper hot sauce – it’s out of this world

The last couple of times that I ordered steak tacos, they were very bland and lacking flavor. We had to use quite a bit of sauce on them. I feel like they used to be better.

Website prices are a lie. Ordered a simple chorizo and egg burrito with guacamole and grilled onion and it was over $17. How does a $10 burrito end up being over $17 with just guac and onion? I will continue to go to taco bell and get a full meal for ~$10. And the food has more flavor
