We keep wanting to like North High but it hasn’t happened for us yet. Today was our third visit. To be fair, it was quite busy. We found a seat at the bar and ordered an app and two sandwiches. My husband got two beers, which were actually pretty good. Our food took 40 minutes to come out, and all came out at the same time. I ordered my burger with sweet potato fries and they sent regular fries which they did correct. Also, what is pictured is a $17 Burger, and the toppings don’t even cover the whole burger. All in all, just a lackluster experience.

We come here often but this last time was awful. The menu was updated which we were excited about. We tried the grown up grilled cheese and it was a child size grilled cheese. It was comically small for what should have been a $15 meal. In addition to that, the service left a lot to be desired. The sandwich (my meal) came out when I was almost done with my beer and the appetizers didn’t come out until way after that. At that point, we didn’t even want the appetizers because the whole point was to eat the appetizers while we had our drinks. I would’ve appreciated if the server even acknowledged the long wait time and how odd it was that the appetizers came out when we normally would be asking for the check. Additionally, we asked several times for an extra side of the two sauces we got and she brought one with the bill and still forgot the other. Just an incredibly lackluster experience.

Okay, this place on the day we came had no staff to serve us so we sat in their beer garden and served ourselves. For us, it actually worked better, we were not disturbed, we enjoyed our food and family time in peace. However, if you want inside seating call and make reservations ahead of time. Food was delicious, super clean eating options, great food quality, lots of vegetables and clean protein. We ordered hummus from the appetizer menu, and it delivered for sure. It was very flavorful, fresh in my opinion served with chips and cucumber. Ambiance and/or atmosphere was great for us since we were sitting ousted and enjoyed our peace and quiet. I would definitely come back and probably requested to serve myself and enjoy my meal outside in the sun.
P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I’ll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

We had exceptional service here yesterday! We had a little wait on our food and then a burger that came out wrong – and really we weren’t bothered by either of those issues just having such a nice time and cocktails (Martini – wow!) but our server made a point to compensate for the issues and was very attentive!
All the food was great! I think the veggie burger would benefit from a little more texture if I’m being picky but the flavor was great and a nice change from bean burgers.

Our first time eating here, service was quick and friendly and the food exceeded expectations. We both got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was very tasty the brussel sprouts and fries were also yummy. Prices were moderate and we had a nice meal on the patio, we’ll be back.

It’s a cool place and the service was great, but I can’t say the same for what I ordered. Got the fish & chips… there was more batter than fish. It had a good flavor, but there was WAY too much of it. The fish itself, which you can’t really taste, was mushy and rather unappealing. The food that some of the other people in my party looked good, but I don’t recommend the fish & chips.

Seated upstairs, so service was slow. Apps were good. Drinks were good. However the entire table was almost done with their meals before I got mine. Not one manager came to apologize. Simple Fish and Chips. Was charged $2 for an extra tartar sauce. Then non existent waitress hovered while waiting for us to complete transaction over the handheld pos and waited to clear the table.

Not terrible but not unique. Menu was like Dublin Village Tavern. Fish was moist but crust was way to hard and solid, chips were small in both stature and quantity. Atmosphere was bright and loud, lacking in cozy or quaint. Not how I picture brew house, pub nor taverns.

Great Service, Great atmosphere, the Cobb Salad was absolutely delicious. The cheese curds were too breaded and crust was too hard/tough while not enough cheese on inside. Overall, great experience.

Stopped by for a quick meal while visiting Dublin for a few days. There were a lot of options on North High Street, but wanted something casual while watching some of the World Series. Although I came without any reservations and it was pretty crowded, they were very accommodating and pulled an extra chair up to the bar for me.
Bartender (think Jesse) immediately came over with a menu and take my drink order. I tried their Seasonal Seltzer. It was very light, crisp, refreshing, and crystal clear as water. Ordered the North High Chicken (grilled) with the North High Fries. A regular (Ryan) was sitting next to me and insisted on ordering some of the Fried Pickle Chips. I’m not a big fan of fried pickles, but I see why he recommended them. They were completely different than most fried pickles as had a nice crisp without being soggy or just tasting like batter. I would recommend them as well. The Chicken Sandwich was good as well. It had a nice charred crisp with the usual toppings, but had candied bacon and served on a potato bun. The fries were good and generously topped with cheese, bacon, salsa, etc…
This was a nice place to have a casual, yet good, meal over a drink. Service was great from the hostess to the bartender. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Dublin.
