Horrible – from the moment we walked in it was an unpleasant experience. The counter workers were not welcoming or engaging, didn’t offer to help or make suggestions, didn’t even mention that if we wanted BBQ sauce we needed to request it and assumed we knew the options were on a small chalkboard. I ordered the brisket plate with mac and cheese and coleslaw sides. My wife had the pig melt plate with mac and cheese and Brunswick stew sides. We also ordered 5 smoked wings – medium sauce. The brisket was not good (fatty and not as expected) and the mac and cheese was horrible, neither were even at room temperature. The coleslaw was fine. My wife’s food was fine, nothing stood out or was great – her mac and cheese was lower than warm as well. The smoked wings, which were a last minute add-on, were the best part of the meal. We didn’t go here for wings… The service was borderline non-existent – some of the worst we’ve experienced in town. I do not recommend this place and believe that if they didn’t have the location they have, they’d have a small chance to survive. The picture is to show how much food I didn’t eat.

What a great place. We had turkey sandwich’s Mac-n-cheese and collards. Delicious. Get the spicy BBQ sauce. It really took it up a notch.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch after a homeschool field trip to the planetarium. Im glad we did! We ordered Rib plates, Brisket plate, bbq pork sandwhich and a hamburger. The food was really good, pricing wasnt bad at all, the staff were really friendly, the place was clean. We really enjoyed our little lunch stop. Thank you Daniel, Evie, and Cameron! Highly recommend if your in the area.

The BBQ was good, the coleslaw had too much salt, and the potato salad was ok with a good bacon flavor. I am appreciate the fact that the potato salad was not overly wet. The Texas toast was good. I was not a fan of the baked bean, which basically tasted like upgraded canned beans. The pulled pork was above average in flavor. I did like the quality of the pork. We appreciated the dog friendly dinner outside option. Nice touch!

We absolutely loved our visit here. Everything was top notch even the Texas toast. Best ribs we’ve had in a long time. Good portions. Fair price. Highly recommend. Oh yeah, and the sweet BBQ sauce is amazing.

I went there specificly for Bristket, but they were sold out. There was a long line down to the road, we went they around noon on weekend. So, we recommend to go there early to have the food you want. Anyway, Slaw was good and the BBQ was perfectly cooked. Combination of everything was so good. You can pick your own sauces for the side too.

Food was not good. Stew has barely warm and the pulled pork had too much fat. This place use to be good but the last 2 times we went not good at all. Cashier was very unfriendly as well. She did not like her job and it showed.

Once you’ve tasted the brisket, you will keep craving it! This was my second visit and I couldn’t wait to taste the brisket again! The portions are big enough for two people. The staff has been amazingly sweet and personable every time, a true example of southern hospitality! The side dishes are wholesome and delicious- potato salad, baked beans and the Brunswick stew!

The wings are really good, and I like the sauce, Texas toast, and the okra (special of the day). It’s pretty decent, and I love that there’s outdoor seating. The only feedback is that 2/3 times I’ve been there we’ve had to go back to the counter for something that was forgotten, but it wasn’t a big deal! Everyone working there was friendly

If you’re craving good barbecue, unfortunately this is the only spot in town…but “only” doesn’t mean “best.” The ribs are a real letdown: dry, chewy, and lacking that smoky tenderness you’d expect from proper BBQ. Instead of falling off the bone, they cling to it for dear life. The sauce can’t save them either. It’s more of a sugary cover-up than a flavor enhancer.

I’ll give them credit for being the only option around, but if you’ve ever had real barbecue elsewhere, you’ll taste the difference immediately. Sometimes convenience is the only reason to stop by, not the quality.
