WOWZERS! My wife and I frequent Northend On Pearl often however we had never gone for brunch. Yesterday, we were trying to decide where we wanted to go to brunch and we had two other favorite brunch spots on our minds but then we thought, hey, we should try Northend On Pearl and boy, are we ever glad we did. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs and I had the eggs benedict with a pancake on the side. When I tell you everything was cooked to perfection, I am not exaggerating whatsoever. The biscuits were soft and fluffy and the gravy was as flavorful as they come with a perfect blend of sausage, rosemary, and a myriad of other flavors I can’t even describe. My wife said it’s her new favorite biscuits and gravy. The eggs benedict was beautiful and cooked to perfection. I know i keep saying perfection but there really is no other word. The muffin was soft, the ham was not just a big chunk of ham, but rather shaved and in abundance. The egg was ooey gooey and the hollandaise was golden and delicious! The pancake was thick and fluffy as can be! Emily was our amazing waitress who made sure our food came out hot and our coffees were full, all with a smile and cheerful demeanor. And to the chef, Bill… the food was on point…CHEF’S KISS
We have found our favorite brunch spot based on the food, the service, and the chef! Don’t walk, run… I have no doubts you will love this place.

Great spot. There are not many gluten-free options, but you can make substitutions to fit your dietary restraints. The food is good and the portions are large. We had the quasadilla and monster nacho half portion. It was more than enough to be full. They have a full bar, kareoki, and live entertainment; always some event every day of the week. We will definitely be returning to play pool and sing kareoki/see a band. It’s a fun spot to have a Sunday Funday.

First time visiting this bar, though I’ve passed by a few times. We sat at the bar, and the bartender/waiter was very friendly and welcoming. We started with a quesadilla, then tried the turkey club and the French dip. The French dip was good, though the meat was a bit overcooked. Drinks were solid—on the pricier side, but nicely made. I’d definitely check it out again.

Met a friend ther for lunch. I remember back in the day when this place was a thriving fun casino! Its changed to a thriving fun tavern with a huge menu of mouth watering food and drink! My friend had the chicken, avocado salad. It looked amazing with wat looked like a whole cut up chicken breast! I had the house club and it’s was big and amazing as well! We were soooo hungry I forgot to take pics except for leftovers. No worries, we’ll be back soon! Shout out to our awesome server, Emily, ty for all your suggestions and making our experience amazing and enjoyable! Ask abt happy hour specials!

Best neighborhood bar and restaurant! The staff… Riley, Lauren, Nichole, Emily, And of course… Bill in the kitchen… they all make you feel right at home with great service and great food! A must if you’re in the north end of Tacoma stop by for some good eats and great food and service!

Bar itself seems really great, live music, darts, and pool are all set up nicely. But the fact that the employees are flat out rude, make passive comments and close the bar 2 hours before it lists online, and on the physical sign, make me never want to come back.
2 hours before closing we were trying to play darts, and they started mopping around us so we felt like we weren’t supposed to be in that area, we moved to the other side of the bar and it wasn’t any more welcoming.
Tall male bartender in a flannel made comments about our orders and how he “can deny them,” meanwhile this was our first drink of the night. Same guy came by and asked us to wrap it up an hour before closing.
Overall, we were all really excited to try out this bar and it has great potential, but the employees are so unfortunate that I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Stopped here to get something to eat. I know it’s a pug atmosphere. Very loud walked in handed menu told me I could sit wherever waited. Waited waited someone came along and asked me. Have you been waited on I said no ordered a burger pretty simple so on the menu looked Sounded good.. Hamburger, lettuce, tomato, onion cheese. Kraft American cheese, a frozen patty Minimal onions, and a few spray a few pieces of onion extremely disappointing. I was going to go to Coles , But could not find parking close by definitely won’t go to this place again not for 30 something dollars I could’ve gotten the same thing from McDonald’s

Portions are good for what you’re paying, nothing special about the food, but they will cook a burger the way you want it and do it well. Nice vibe in that the area has a lot of nicer themed bars and this tries to remain simple, straight forward without having to overthink your options. Live music was nice.
