Went to North End based on a recommendation, but it didn’t meet expectations. The $1 happy hour oysters were good. Overall, disappointed with the food, I feel like most of it was lacking flavor. The fried mac and cheese tasted like it was straight from a box and didn’t really have any taste. The tenders were bland and over cooked. The coconut shrimp was decent. Dumplings were good. The wings were okay.

Waitress wasn’t attentive but we went for $1 oysters and wings. Wings were light on sauce but cooked well and meaty. Oysters were Chesapeake Bay. Not very salty but for $1 they were good. Downside… Trying to find street parking

Super friendly staff and our server was very attentive. The food was outstanding especially the fried calamari. The sweet potato fries were out of this world. Definitely coming back here on next year’s vacation!

Terrible experience! Stumbled upon this place. We went in as they had gluten free options. The staff was friendly. We had the Philly cheese steak on gluten free bun which was too cheesy and too salty. Pub steak was terrible- the meat tasted like “sweaty old socks” and mushrooms was straight from a can. Hot roast beef was ok but with each bite the taste got worse. Spent about a $100 and walked away irritated and unsatisfied. Will not be returning to this place again .

I recently visited North End and was very pleased with my experience! The buttermilk chicken sandwich was delicious, tender, and juicy and the fries were crispy. We also had cheesesteak dumplings which were phenomenal. Service was excellent as well.

We stopped here during the food truck fest. Our server Josh seemed to be the only server for the inside tables. We ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. Drinks were decent, the calamari was good. As it came to dinner, my step dad’s sandwich came out incorrect. Josh was very apologetic and got a new sandwich out quick. However, the flounder sandwich is not worth it. It appears to be to frozen fish slapped on a bun. My moms fish tacos were subpar. And the burger was decent. Josh was great and took the fish sandwich off, but never once did a manager come over to speek to us or apologize.

The food was ok a bit bland. The shrimp scampi and clams with linguine was a bit blah they also had no fresh parsley which gives the color and also the taste especially in the scampi. The mango salsa was a bit weird tasting on the fish tacos. The service was a mess, we got served 3 different tables food we had to constantly keeping them it wasn’t our food. We had to ask for silverware 2 times and they didn’t give the correct amount so we had to ask a 3rd time. This was our first time visiting this restaurant after coming to wildwood for 25 years. We would most likely not return.

North End Grille in North Wildwood is a hidden gem. I am gluten intolerant, so eating out is difficult especially when on vacation. I walked in to ask about Gluten-free options, the hostess was unsure and went to get the Jeffrey, the kitchen manager. He explained what the restaurant could accommodate for me. They are 100% Celiac and gluten-free friendly. They have a fryer dedicated to fries, so they could make wings and use a flat top for burgers to avoid any cross contamination. The gluten free buns are the best I have had at any restaurant.
