Our service was fantastic!!!!! Quick and kind. She joked with us and was very friendly. The place was very unique. Food was also pretty fantastic!!! Would add this to my next stop to Slippery Rock!

The pretzel and cheese was delicious! I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy and the fried fish. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about were the French fries. (Too salty) next time I would just request no salt. Other than that I enjoyed our experience and will be visiting again!

North Country is such a gem. I started coming here when I went to college in Slippery Rock. I now live about an hour away but still make my way up to North Country a few times a year! You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The pretzels appetizer and Leroy Brown burgers are always my go to picks. Everything is so fresh and always consistent. The building itself is so unique. They have multiple floors of indoor seating, bar seating and plenty of outside seating. If you’re looking to try somewhere new, I highly recommend North Country! You will not regret it!

Stopped in for a mid-afternoon lunch around 2:30 and was pleasantly surprised that it was already happy for with half-price beer. Both the food and beer were delicious.

Have stopped here multiple times but it’s been awhile. We made reservations, but it was around 5 pm on a Tuesday when we stopped, so would not have been necessary. Hubs ordered a flight… You can get as many choices as you like for $2.50 each. Margarita was extremely sour. Roasted BBQ chicken came with two sides… Chicken and smoked Mac n cheese were delicious. Slippery Broc salad was ok. Haddock fish sandwich was delicious and portion large. Side of sweet potato fries…tasty. Wonderful friendly server, Devon. The biggest downside was dessert, a blueberry strawberry cobbler. Was a bit on the dry side. However, our server asked her manager to remove it from our tab when we said it did not taste good. So kudos to Devon and the manager. Food is consistently good here. Wonderful atmosphere… We will be back.

Extremely Cool place . The service was outstanding! Large menu w some excellent options. The burgers were great as well as the Cajun chicken pasta. the artichoke dip w pitas for and appetizer was excellent. Highly recommend stopping if your in or around Slippery Rock.

Little pricey, but really good food when we were there.
Had the buffalo chicken pasta and a leroy chicken sandwich(couldn’t get a pic, she tore into it). And a hazy ipa which was great.

Always have great food and beer. Burgers here are amazing. I usually get a flight, but this time I knew what I wanted. Service was great, food wait time was not. Took about 30 minutes to get 2 burgers and it was not busy during lunch time. We weren’t in a rush so we didnt mind.

Hate I never left a review before. But today was the best ever. They are always amazing with great food and craft beer. But the owner Bob made it special. He was doing the “dirty” work to make this pbae better and installing lights. You will never go wrong with this historic stop in Slippery rock

After reading reviews about this restaurant, I really expected more than what was served. To start with the PRICE here is pretty dang high. If they want to have high prices then, the food needs to be better quality.
The Porky was…so so. The meat was good, the added peppers we good but, the sauce, which makes the sandwhich, was soooooo sweet…way over sweet. I felt like I was eating a candy pork sandwhich.
The flew the coop swap was eh.. again, a sauce issue. But this one tasted almost like the sauce was old or something.
The north country Italian wasnt too bad but definitely tasted like cheap deli meat instead of fresh.
The beer and mix drinks were probably the best part of it…I would hope so since its a brewy.
All in all, my honest opinion is……. very over priced, cheap food.
