Best fatty brisket around. Beef butter barbecue is a close 2nd but North and South can’t be beaten. Their pulled pork is equally as good and their homemade cornbread muffins are fantastic!

We recently had North and South cater for a reception of about 30 people at an outdoor shelter. We could not have been more pleased with how things went. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. Long after the meal was over, the guests were still commenting on what a fabulous diiner we had. I have been a fan of North and South for a long time and it was a true pleasure to introduce others to this great establishment. I highly recommend N & S for any catered event as well as eat in dining.

The food here was absolutely amazing and the staff was just as good! We arrived super early for Friday dinner around 430 and it was already super busy. My husband said the brisket here was better than Beef Butter BBQ which is high praise since they have been my favorite.

Literally the best restaurant in DeForest! Tight fit when busy, but the hostess was on her game to get people in and served with incredible efficiency! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Drinks are great with a great selection.

I got the Nashville dinner which is Tennessee ribs, brisket and two sides. The brisket was terrific, but those ribs were something to write home about! They were hands down the best ribs I’ve had, super tender and fall off the bone without being mush. My sides were the Mac and cheese as well as fries. The Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, the fries were good too, but at the end of the day they were just fries. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!
