The food here is great! The Cuban and brisket Philly are my favorites. I noticed there is not any salt and pepper shakers on the tables. That’s because they are not needed. The food here is seasoned perfectly. I have been here several times and they never disappoint!

I just destroyed one of the best traditional Cuban sandwiches of my life — and I don’t say that lightly. I’m the kind of guy who dissects a Cuban like it’s a science project: bread crunch, mustard tang, pickle ratio, all of it. Norma’s nailed every single detail.
I added fried yuca (because I’m not here to play around), and my wife went with the Cuban bowl — both absolute fire. I’m honestly mad at myself for not knowing about this place sooner.
If you love real Cuban flavor and want your taste buds to high-five you, get to Norma’s. Bring napkins. Maybe a second stomach.

A legit cuban sandwich! A few things kept this off winning an award but it wasn’t far off. The pork had a monster flavor and was very tender! The press was great! I love my pickle a touch sour and this was just right. I would have liked a pinch more butter on the bread. The meats were not fully warm and I personally want the sandwich warm all the way thru. These two tweaks definitely get this at that 8.5 range. I would absolutely swing in and grab another one while in town. Your turn to grab one.

I come here all of the time with my wife and it’s amazing every time. I want to try more of their menu but I can’t get away from the Cuban bowl with blackened chicken. If you haven’t tried Norma’s already, you absolutely should.

I guess don’t come here if you’re in a rush or starving. Order ahead. Took forever for one Cuban. Around 35 minutes. Was supposed to be pressed and it wasn’t. I was too hungry by the time I got my sandwich to complain. Girl at counter pretended to check on my order multiple times before she actually checked on it. She doesn’t smile and isn’t friendly at all. Zero customer service skills.

16$ Norma’s salad. Not even enough to feed a kid!! I was so stunned by how small it was I called and asked them about it and they said I must have gotten the “side salad” and come back for correct size. Get in my car and drive all the way there for them to tell me “that actually is the size our bowls come in”. No resolution. I used to eat here all the time and will never come back because of this

Delicious tacos and wraps. Such great flavor and warmth. Best seasoned chicken that I’ve had in a while. Music selection was questionable with f-bombs being dropped and the volume a little much for such a small place. Wouldn’t have expected such a vulgar club vibe in a quaint spot. Clean and inviting space. Young staff member seemed aloof and disinterested in clients. Bathroom clean. Plenty of seating.

Oh my goodness!!! Walking around Downtown Plant City can strike up quite the hunger and Norma’s DOES NOT disappoint. The food and atmosphere delivered on taste and charm. We had the Cuban style bowls and they were equally comforting and refreshing with the bright fresh taste of the green cilantro sauce added on top of the rice, beans and pork. As a 42 yr old Plant City native,this is where my family came back in the day to stock the coolers before picnics, parades, beach days or just because we were craving the classic Cuban sandwich!! I love Scott the new owner but the thinness of this sandwich is ridiculous!! I payed $15 for a 9in and I understand inflation but dang the single folded piece of each ham, salami, and deli pork were asinine!!! Let’s get to the pressing of the sandwich,or lack there of… The pressing was almost non-existent, I wanted my sandwich pressed not unpressed and lightly toasted. For 5 sandwiches for a total of $82 and change= bare minimum meat and lightly toasted bread with no press!
