Located in the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, I had high hopes for a great experience. Staff is fine, but service was quite slow. I expected more for ambience, but just slightly better than a diner. Food presentation is very good, but the flavors are average.

If you’re looking for a fine dining, romantic evening, this ain’t the place.

Food and service was great, however our waitress told us they were permanently closing as of September 3rd 2018 to make way for a new restaurant.

Ordered the all you can eat. Wasn’t really worth it in my opinion since they only serve half a roll each time and there’s like a 20 minute delay between each request, so you’d be full by the time the next plate comes.

Had the lobster roll and wagyu beef rolls, but didn’t think either one goes well, served in that form.

Dragon rolls, bake muss, and the double crunch were tasty. So I’d definitely order that separately if I ever get the chance again instead of getting all you can eat.

Don’t forget the free drink included with the resort fee. Service was excellent.

Friendly staff and excellent service. Conveniently located on premise of Fairmont Orchid.
The food served is quite lack luster, though portions are large.
“Grilled wagyu beef” has no evidence of being grilled, it’s rather a subprime cut of slow cooked/braised meat. The sauces are just soy sauce infused with various flavors, which may be interesting to those new to Asian cuisine.

Overall the ambience is OK, but the food feels lacking soul and passion.

We are here simply because we were staying at the Fairmont, and I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. It was good, but very pricey for what you get. The sushi was okay but definitely not the best on the island.

Nice location and service. The unlimited sushi rolls were a good deal and the ribeye was very tender. The cocktails were solid.

Food was poorly prepared. Bad sushi, oily tempura, cold fried calamari, room temperature oysters. The drinks less than basic. Don’t waste your money. Rip off.

The food is quite ok. But for the aspiration and price level of this restaurant one should not be waiting for 15 minutes if you have a proper reservation. No further complaints very friendly staff.

Great service, great sushi. Expensive as its on a resort but worth it. Ask to sit in Joyson’s section – he’s awesome.

Just ok. Basic sushi is good. Their more creative dish’s are best left alone.
