We stumbled into Nori and was extremely surprised. The barmaid Mariah definitely knows what she is doing behind the bar. Phil has a clear understanding of sushi. The flavors were exceptional. A definite visit if your in ocean city.

When we first came in, it was weird because there was no host and we are still not sure who seated us – that was our first impresion. However, everything else was great. The food was amazing. We got some recommendations on what we should try and we loved it. Server Alina was wonderful and had some great chats with her. We will be back!

Disappointed. Ordered 20$ speciality rolls, and they were so small and tasteless, don’t worth the price at all. We did carry out and the customer service was also bad. I had a feeling that they make me a favor to take an order. Would not recommend the place

I came here back in 2019 and have been meaning to write a review. I remember it was owned and operated by some young adults. They were really nice and friendly, and the food was amazing. If I ever come back to Ocean City, I would definitely come here again!

Nestled in the heart of Ocean City, Nori is an absolute gem that transcends the typical sushi experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere that is both relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable – a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable culinary journey.
What truly elevates Nori is its exceptional staff. Every interaction felt genuine and attentive, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu and a clear passion for hospitality. Their recommendations were spot-on, guiding us to dishes that perfectly suited us.
We started with the Nachos and Salty Edamame, and let me tell you, these aren’t your average appetizers. The Nachos were a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor and a creative twist, perfect amounts of spicy mayo and eel sauce to complement the fresh bites of tuna and crispy wontons. The Salty Edamame offered that perfect savory bite. Both were a testament to Nori’s commitment to quality even in their opening acts.
Next we embarked on a sushi adventure. Following the staff’s brilliant suggestions, we sampled several of their specialty sushi rolls, each a masterpiece of fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship. The flavors were vibrant, the textures exquisite, and the presentation, impeccable. We also ventured into their vegan roll selection, and we were absolutely thrilled. Often, vegan options can feel like an afterthought, but Nori’s vegan rolls were just as inventive and delicious as their non-vegan counterparts, proving that their culinary creativity knows no bounds.
Each and every roll we tried was, without exaggeration, very tasty. Nori has perfected the art of sushi, offering a diverse menu that caters to all preferences without sacrificing quality or innovation.
In a town with many dining options, Nori stands out as an extraordinary destination. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience curated by an excellent team in a delightful setting, leaving you with a lingering sense of satisfaction and a strong desire to return. Nori in Ocean City is, quite simply, a must-visit.

The food wasn’t great. I got (10) mussels for $16. Soft Crab BLT needed seasoning. Seafood Ceviche was mostly seaweed salad.

This Wings & Boom Boom Shrimp were good!

We didn’t get to try the sushi. But overall disappointed.

Solid spot but not amazing. The wait staff was good, but overall, the looked great food was mediocre. It’s quite pricey considering the flavor profile.

Everything we had was wonderful. We had octopus, 8 different sushi rolls and the nachos. The drinks were amazing and the staff was very friendly. An absolute favorite in ocean city. Voted the best sushi in the OC and I can see why!

Got some take out around 3:00 on a Tuesday in October. So it was very quiet. Got the sushi and sashimi. I’ve worked at a couple sushi restaurants and I’ve eaten at probably at dozens of them. 99% of them give ya a soup or salad or even rice with your sushi and sashimi dinner. I was very disappointed. 12 pieces for 34$ without any other sides is wild in 2025. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the food wasn’t poop. It wad mediocre fish. Hence mediocr rating. I will never return.

3/5 with overall experience. More of a sushi bar atmosphere than an upscale diner atmosphere. Please flip thru the photos attached.

Seemed dead for a Sat night at 5:45pm, but take into account it’s off season in a coastal town.

Just me, so I sat at the sushi counter. Waitress Olivia – who mentioned to me she had put in her 2 wks that night – took a few mins to take my order; I had to find my own menu (outdated it seems, but we’ll get to that.) Mr. K & Troy behind the sushi counter were happy to answer questions & let me take a few photos. The sake I ordered was for them, out of respect, and they were happy to embibe. I ordered a small amount of sashimi & nigiri to consume inside – see receipt attached – and ordered grape leaves & edamame to go. The sashimi & nigiri I received was tasty, however the price difference in the end is what threw me off. Apparently, confirmed by Olivia, they had a few outdated menus mixed in with the updated menus (grape leaves wasn’t on the older ones, and a few prices had differed.) I paid for all my items, but this is something to note if you’re eating here.
