Very clean. Very chill atmosphere. Cool people. Awesome food. Definitely a must to visit if you’ve never been here. Otherwise, you’ll end up contemplating your existence because you chose to skip this little slice of heaven known as Nori Sushi and Grill. I recommend the Dinosaur Roll and the Salmon Teriyaki.

Greeted by friendly staff when we walked in. Clean dining area with steam line design. Sushi is delicious!! We had the “yummy” roll, good size and plenty of pieces. The steak hibachi was great; the meat had good flavor and the veggies were crispy and fresh. The kani salad was my favorite with a flavorful dressing and the right amount of topping and lettuce. Would highly recommend.

This place has great sushi and crab rangoon! I walked in and was greeted very nicely. The place is not very busy, getting a lot more delivery orders than in person orders. I was very quickly given my food.
It might not be the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it’s still better than several other places I’ve gone.
I heard people say the outside is a bit sketchy, and I do agree (though it’s more of the placement than anything, not much can be done to improve that), but the inside of the building is honestly really cozy and nice.

Would definitely recommend going here, and I’ll be going a lot more.

I don’t know the reason or the cause for the current 4.6 point rating?

This is a just a bit over one Star Japanese restaurant that for student’s takeout orders!

All the fine-in orders are served on the single use dishes that the pricing close to the nice Japanese restaurant!

We (three of us) were the only customers there for the entire time of our meal.

I don’t think we will ever come back again!

Our first time. My son and I tried the egg rolls (HOT!!), Japanese fried rice with chicken, the hibachi chicken, and vegetable tempura. The vegetable tempura (comes with a side of rice) was our favorite. The hibachi chicken was similar to other places (rice, vegetables, salad) and the Japanese fried rice with chicken was good too.

In few words tasty food and clean ambience. We had Shrimp Tempura Sushi and Fried shu-mai. Both were delicious and we paid around 18$. So definitely coming back to try other options.

I wanted to love this place. I love sushi! While the place was clean and cute, and the service was quick (I was the only customer on a Thursday at 2 PM), the food was only okay. It is a step up from HyVee or Pick n Save sushi. It is made custom, but with a limited sushi menu. I ordered super white tuna sushi, spicy tuna Maki, and Alaska Maki. They should be pretty straight forward but the taste was off. I may attribute that to the packaged Wasabi, I’m accustomed to the dryer clumps of Wasabi from Takumi. I questioned if the soy sauce was actually Kikoman. Also a key factor for sushi, IMO! This is still much better than Sumo. Price for a basic Maki roll was more expensive than Takumi. End recommendation: just go to Takumi.

Quick delivery and delicious shrimp tempura. Everything was yummy, just wish my hibachi steak was medium rare as requested.

Great sushi, extremely kind workers. They even gave us free popcorn shrimp and it was very yummy. I recommend the rainbow roll, mocha sundae, and the popcorn shrimp.

The presentation and portion was sad to say the least. sushi in downtown areas places have the same pricing, better presentation, and actual dishware. Truly disappointing
Come for the hot food and forget about the sushi menu.
