Quality and food is good, price too, especially for Tampa. I would only say that the seaweed could have more durability since the handrolls fell apart after a bite. Maybe make it a bit longer, or roasting/frying the laver for easier bite?

Service; our waiter was nice. Just the food came out longer than it should have been, we were the first to order but the last to receive the rest of our food. We noticed we still were waiting on 3 rolls after an hour, and when I told them they said they accidently gave 1 of them away, which there was only 3 tables occupied. They were nice to take off a % off the check though. I would give it a try again, but I’ll wait a bit.

Again, fish was great and fresh. Would love to see an omakase set since there’s bar/chef seating.

I recently visited Nori Nori for lunch on a Saturday, and it was my first time dining there. Parking in the plaza can be a bit tight, but after a little maneuvering, I was able to find a spot.

The food made it completely worth it. I ordered the salmon with crispy rice, and it was absolutely delicious, easily one of my favorite dishes of the visit. The rice was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining soft and flavorful on the inside. I also tried the sparkling yuzu lemonade, which was beautifully tart and refreshing, and the lychee lemonade was another standout option.

The eel bento box was equally satisfying and well-prepared. Overall, it was a great experience with flavorful dishes and refreshing drinks. I would definitely visit again.

We went here on a saturday around 6pm and it was super packed! Luckily since it was only two of us we didn’t have to wait for a seat. It’s a small place so not ideal for bigger parties. We had to sit at the bar and it was super tight. Parking was a bit difficult, we had to park on the street.

We ordered the sunomono, hojicha tea, and the classic set for each of us. My brother has a shellfish allergy so we had to substitute the miso scallop handroll, but they were super accommodating and made sure to take his allergy seriously! Double checked with us an everything (especially since I got the miso scallop for myself).

The sunomono was really refreshing and the rolls were so good and fresh! We weren’t sure if it would’ve filled us up but the 4 handrolls and shared appetizer was definitely enough.

The service was absolutely amazing, both the chefs and our waiter were wonderful! Would love to come back to try their other rolls!!

I was in the neighborhood, not looking for sushi (especially because there’s never been sushi here before), and stumbled across this place, decided to check it out. I kept the portion small, just a taste test – Grand Opening next week. The edamame was pretty much perfect, hot and fresh with good flavor. The scallop roll I tried was delicious. A little more roe would be great, I barely noticed it and I ordered it to try something new. And it’s beautiful so that red roe should be really highlighted, just my opinion. I have pictures to add once the option is available.

Update: My leftover sushi tasted even better this morning.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try out Nori Nori because it was blowing up all over our Tiktok, safe to say it was for a good reason! We came around 8pm on a Friday night and were able to get a table with no wait. The handrolls were amazing, especially the A5 Wagyu and Bluefin Toro. We also enjoyed the edamame, takoyaki and crispy rice tuna, flavors were so yummy. The owner Chau also came around and was very welcoming and kind. This place is great for a date night or a craving for some good filling sushi! Overall, a great little hidden gem and will be back!

Sushi with a side of soul! We had an incredible date night at Nori Nori — a cozy, stylish spot in Seminole Heights that’s full of charm and flavor. The space is intimate, and sitting at the bar with the open kitchen in full view made the experience even more special. Watching the chefs in action, especially the incredibly kind and talented sous chef, Brian (or Bryan) — felt like dinner and a show.

We ordered the Favorite Set (5 handrolls), the salmon crudo (my personal favorite — unbelievably fresh), hamachi shots (so fun and flavorful), and a wakame salad that was refreshingly unique. The sparkling sake was a perfect pairing. They were out of the takoyaki that night (a bit of a bummer — but also a great excuse to go back soon!).

The interior was thoughtfully designed, with warm tones and a playful “Rice to meet you” neon sign that made us smile. It’s clear this place was built with love and we’re thrilled to have it in the neighborhood.

We’ll definitely be back. Nori Nori is exactly the kind of place that makes Seminole Heights special.

Since they opened, Nori Nori has quickly become one of our favorite spots for elevated hand rolls and crispy rice. I love the unique flavor/texture combinations offered in their hand rolls and their crispy rice is my favorite in the Tampa Bay area — it’s actually crispy! Service is always great and we enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting it up with the chefs. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

So glad Seminole Heights has a restaurant like this! The fish was so fresh and the hand rolls were unique. We love that they have other items on the menu, besides hand rolls as well! We will definitely make this a recurring date night spot

This place was fantastic! Bit of a wait since it’s so new but ‍♂️ get there early. Food was bomb — got the 4 and 6 set, spicy tuna crispy rice, and brussels sprouts salad. Salmon + ikura hand roll and the salad were my favorite bites of the night. Will be back for more.
