Nora’s Public House is a unique style Irish Pub with a full menu that blends Irish and American fare. Previously The Morehouse since 2015 owners Seamus and Mcpat Coyne have been a staple in this community for many years focusing on community enhancement and always treating everyone like family. Seamus and Mcpat partnered with Chef Ben David and Brianne Kearney in 2020 to rebrand as Nora’s Public House. We feature 19 taps both local and craft brews, 20 TV’s, a large assortment of Irish Whiskey selections, biggest dog friendly patio in Downtown Willoughby and live entertainment weekly. We strive to provide friendly service in an atmosphere that is welcoming to all, while maintaining our love for all things Irish. Slainte!

The food was delicious and filling, and the service was on point. Mary Catherine She welcomed us in, answered questions, came and checked on us to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything, she was right there to refill our drinks.She had a great welcoming and fun personality. First time coming, will not be the last. Let’s start, staff, excellent. Felt like a real team effort with everyone pitching in to help us. Could not speak higher of them. Next, the food, phenomenal. We tried the Pimento Jalapeno Cheese dip which looked to be a seasonal item, my advice, make that a permanent item. It was that good. My wife loved her wrap, she said she felt guilty she couldn’t finish it. Me, my burger could not have been better. Cooked to perfection and tasted like it too. The price was great too, no complaints there.
As I said in the start of my review, we will be coming back here soon and look forward to making it a routine thing.

I met my childhood best friend here after not seeing her for several months, and we had a great time out on the patio with two dogs. It was super roomie and again, a perfect place for our 4-legged friends. When the server came over to welcome us he brought a bowl of water which I thought was so thoughtful! The 4 stars for atmosphere is just because there were several people who were watching football and were too loud for me.

Jenny was the sweetest l. Very attentive server. The patio had a very chill vibe at 3pm on a Friday. Irish egg rolls are my favorite. Then the pirogies and then the shrimp tacos. Overall love coming here. Highly recommend stopping in for drinks or food.

Great spot, best wings this side of Buffalo. Great beer selection, burgers are great too. Fries are made with the necar of god and taste exquisite. Def a good spot to catch a beer and some wings listen to some music and just relax.

Stopped in for a quick bite and overall the food was just okay, nothing to get excited about though… Also it was pretty expensive.
Three adults, each had food and our table had 3 hard ciders the bill was about $110 plus a tip.
There’s a weird service charge of $3.99 (I think that was amount) added to the bill, not sure what that’s all about.

With all the other selections for food in downtown Willoughby I would definitely not pick this place again to eat… But I probably would stop in again but just got a drink sometime.

Small pub with a happy bunch of customers enjoying themselves made it a fun stop on a cold winter evening. The confit wings and house made soup were cooked well and tasted great. The service was fast and attentive even with a full house. And it was decorated for the holidays. Can’t ask for more than that.

First time here and we had a great experience. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and the server was very attentive. Several people stopped by frequently to check on us, see how our meal was, if we needed anything, etc. We will definitely return!

We catered my daughter’s first birthday party with Nora’s catering. We were so impressed with the quality of food – especially for catering. The food was a hit – we got so many compliments! For 60 people, we spent ~$800. Liz was great and extremely responsive via text which was so appreciated as a working mom. Highly recommend! My only feedback would be making delivery an easier option as party day is usually quite hectic 🙂
