As a vegetarian im always on the hunt for a great food option and Nopa did not disappoint. Their crispy tofu sandwich is one of the best ive had. Not everyone knows how to present tofu. This was reminiscent of a Vietnamese tofu bahn mi sandwich with a delicious cucumber, carrot, ginger slaw and jalapeño. Perfectly deep fried and crispy without feeling heavy afterwards.
Great service as well, all the staff was attentive, food came out quick and their in house

The rockfish sandwich was amazing. It had the daikon, carrot slaw with cilantro and mint garnish was refreshing, tangy and balanced out the fried fish. The breading on the fish was crunchy and flavorful. The rockfish itself was fresh and tender, cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to try other menu items next time. The only downside to the place is the limited seating, so may need to order food to-go.

Blew away all our expectations! The whole staff was super professional and passionate about their food. The menu was short and sweet however everything was served at an elevated level. I had the best tuna melt of my life and my partner had the fish and chips which were also incredible. While it’s a relaxed/ fast casual space, pricing reflects the zip code and elevated quality of everything. Job well done!

Fresh fish and delicious menu. I tried the fish chowder and the catch of the day, and everything tasted fresh. I also tried the seaweed potato chips which I loved. Highly recommend for a quick lunch/dinner in the Ferry Building. The workers were very nice and mentioned that they change the menu very frequently according to what’s in season.

Tucked inside the San Francisco Ferry Building, Nopa Fish is a modest seafood sandwich shop surrounded by a lively mix of artisanal food vendors. A short walk to the back of the building reveals a scenic view of the ferry terminal and the Bay Bridge, adding a quintessentially San Francisco touch to the experience.

The grilled tuna sandwich ($25) offers a pleasing balance of textures — crisp on the outside, tender and moist within — and a subtle complexity of flavor. Overall, it’s a satisfying choice worth 3½ stars. On my next visit, the seafood salad will be at the top of my list.

Food is fresh and tastes amazing. All the staff working there are incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful. I ordered various bits from the fish counter. The fish collar in particular is so good. Price is very reasonable too.

A fabulous addition to the Ferry Building.

Tried the Rocky fish sandwich and the Pristine fish over rice . Both were very tasty .

The Rocky was my favorite. Nice and delicate deep fried fish with a tasty slaw on a soft milk bread bun!

The Pristine fish over rice was tasty but a little “messy” with flavors all over the place. A good dish, just a little bit chaotic in such a small container. Would be better served in a larger container so the different ingredients can be eaten separately.

Absolutely loved my experience at Nopa Fish! From start to finish, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

The summer salad was the perfect start—vibrant, crisp, and bursting with seasonal flavors that felt like a plate of sunshine. The fish and chips were outstanding: perfectly golden, light, and flaky with a crunch that made every bite satisfying. And the star of the meal, the rockfish sandwich, was simply incredible—delicate yet packed with flavor, balanced by fresh toppings and a soft, warm bun.

The ambiance was relaxed yet elevated, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Nopa Fish truly captures the essence of coastal dining with a modern touch. Highly recommend for anyone craving fresh, thoughtfully crafted seafood in the city!

Thin crispy batter, soft bun, juicy fish, The Rocky sandwich was so good. The chowder had great smoky flavor and had a ton of texture. Was totally not expecting to find this gem in the touristy area
