Amazing experience! The food was so authentic and top quality, and the portions were very generous. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients. And the owner was so warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend, this spot is a real gem! Can’t wait to go back again!

I needed food and comfort Indian was definitely a consideration. We had landed early that morning and had to meet the family at the hospital.

The snow was about to come in a day and after a few weeks on the road the shock of winter was real.

The ratings were very tantalizing and being able to get mutton was a sign of being transported in south India. My only regret was this was going to be a take away.

But guess what it was way better than I could have desired. The paratha, the chicken, the rice (jeera included) were divine.

I so wished I had added the two things I always crave dal makhani and sag paneer.

The spice was so on point. I had to hide some of the rice so I could have some more over the coming days.

I know I have found my new spot for proper curry.

Chef was there and he tells me he can make pongal and sambar, so I am running over for a proper meal.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had and tasted in the US. Not only was the food amazing, the server was extremely accommodating and kind. My mom has a sensitivity to spice and by their own kindness, offered some yogurt to help soothe her buds so that she could still enjoy the food. I tried the chicken tikka masala and it was so rich and flavorful. My family and I also shared garlic and butter naans which were IMPECCABLE. Very crunchy yet fluffy. Thank you to this restaurant for the life-changing food. Definitely will be coming back soon!

I tried the Hyderabadi Biryani and the Karampodi Kodi — and the taste of the Karampodi Kodi still lingers in my mind! The restaurant is simple and clean, not a fancy setup, but the food and hospitality truly stand out. It’s a family-owned place, and the lady serving brings warmth and life to the whole experience. It reminded me of India-where people go beyond just serving food and show genuine care for every guest.

Had all the popular dishes based on the reviews: Chicken tikka masala, chicken dum biriyani, masala tea, mango lassi, fish chili mili, goat karahi, garlic naan, and gulab jamun with rabdi. The fish chili mili and goat karahi stood out for me. The worst dish I had was the dum biriyani due to extreme nutmeg which overflowed the dish making it bitter. The mango lassi was another which I disliked after one sip. The yogurt in the lassi did not taste fresh at all. Masala tea and the dessert was alright. I wish a customer would know that the jamun is hot when served and covered by rabdi. I ended up burning my mouth but it’s okay. The server was nice and friendly with all customers but wish there was at least one more person to assist to speed up service for everyone. I’m also glad it’s a halal spot.

Amazing authentic Indian food. Freshly made to order. Better than the Indian restaurants in Jackson heights, Queens. Worth the trip here.

This is our new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Dish after dish we were floored with the flavors! All of the chicken dishes were extremely tender, whether white or dark meat. We tried the rajma, paneer mughlai, aloo gobi, and chicken homestyle & tikka masala, and chicken biryani. It was impossible to choose favorites among them. Portions were great as well. The owner is kind and so friendly. Absolutely worth a visit.

I had the most wonderful experience. Really liked the food, had ordered Egg Bonda, Onion Pakora, Indian Chai and Chicken Dum Biryani. The onion pakora were crispy and really tasty. The Dum Biryani is to die for! It was soooo goood. Also, we had asked the host to make the chai stronger and she really took our request into consideration and we had the best chai.
The service was exceptional by the host, and the atmosphere is very chill and friendly.
Really liked the place overall. Definitely coming back. 🙂

Nice and cozy atmosphere and the lady who was serving us who I think is the owner was super nice. Very welcoming. My niece needed hot water to warm up her milk she provided soon after we requested. Now as for food it is one of the best Indian restaurants that I’ve tried! All the dishes we tried were spiced extremely well and cooked to perfection. Exactly what we look for in classical Indian cuisine!
