What once began as a dream to introduce authentic, nourishing Persian food to Chicagoland has become a true success story. We started as a small, family-owned, 11 table restaurant in 1997. What hasn’t changed through the years, is our philosophy that visitors to our restaurant are our guests and it is our pride and joy to create an atmosphere where people keep coming back for more. We create authentic Persian food that reflects our heritage. Our ingredients are always fresh, most of our spices come from Iran, and our menu is lovingly prepared using our treasured family recipes. Good morning! It would be an oversight if I did not share our incredible experience catering from here. Last night we hosted over 50 people in our home, and we ordered from this amazing establishment. It is truly in my humble opinion, the best quality food, incredible service, and a level of commitment to the finest ingredients that I have ever seen in a restaurant. Every single one of our guests were deeply appreciative and grateful for having the pleasure of enjoying this fine tasting food. I cannot complete the review without mentioning Vahid, who ensured that we had a memorable, and quality experience. Honesty time, I was worried when I saw the prices at first but then the portion sizes came and they were huge!! The plates were delicious and one was enough to share so we had plenty for lunch the next day. Also the staff were very kind, attentive, and helpful. What a great find!! We had dinner with friends yesterday and it was a wonderful experience!! The food is amazing and the service great ! Falafel was so light and crispy, Dolmeh ( grape leaves) , and Kash-Ke-Bademjan (Roasted eggplant pureed with onion, garlic, and mint yogurt) were delicious. Excellent food. Cute atmosphere. Quaint location. Authentic. The food / meat was fresh and very flavorful. Loved the sauces. Wish they had a better dessert menu. I tried the baklava (made with dates) and the Bamieh. Both were not that good. The tea was lovely. We went right before closing so ordered our food over the phone and they were gracious enough to have our food piping hot and ready right on arrival. Will be back soon!
