Once at our table, we viewed the menu using a QR-code on the table. The symbol for Most-Popular helped me decide what to order- the spicy beef noodle soup. My sister ordered the mapo tofu noodles with meat. We ordered the pork dumplings as an appetizer (though it wasn’t brought to the table until after our entrees were served). And we each ordered mung bean soup. What an interesting thing to call that- as it seems more like sweet tea.
We were so satisfied with every part of our visit. Each of our dinners was exactly what we were hungry for. The pork dumplings were coated in a sweet chili oil sauce. And the mung bean soup, served with ice in a big cup, did exactly as the placemat said it would- serving as a refreshment to cool your mouth between each spicy bite.
The space is decorated very nicely. I loved the wooden chair design and the view over Delmar from the second story. The space was clean and well-lit.
As for service, I wouldn’t exactly call it table service since diners order from their cell phone. Staff was kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back! I recommend going sooner than later, before they’re as well known as Corner 17, in order to avoid a future long wait.
There’s also a huge selection of beverages I’d like to try soon.
Delicious flavorful food, the noodles were AMAZING. We tried the pork soup dumplings which were so yummy and not too hot, the golden chicken noodle soup (which was plain Jane but I loved that they had soy sauce and chili on the table so I could spice it up if I wanted to), and the spicy beef noodles which was great too, the broth was so good! Great pricing as well. I will definitely be back again!
From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm and intentional. The lower level is minimalist and clean, but as you walk upstairs, the space transforms — filled with art, culture, love, and soft lighting that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a hidden creative haven.
One of the most unique features is how you order: each table has a QR code you scan to browse the menu and order, almost like DoorDash, but right there in the restaurant. It’s modern, seamless, and surprisingly fun.
When the food arrived, it came out piping hot and incredibly fresh. Every bite was full of flavor — you could tell the ingredients were high-quality and made with care. The service matched the food: kind, attentive, and patient from start to finish.
If you’re in St. Louis and love good food with an artistic vibe, Noodle Story is an absolute must-visit. This place truly lives up to its name — every dish tells a story. ✨
The interior is massive with an entire second story full of seating so there’s usually little to no wait to get seated.
