I love this place so much, it’s the best pho I’ve ever had and I travel all over the place. I miss them dearly.

“Update” I still love this place, its my absolute favorite pho restaurant. I travel all over for work and so I try many many pho places but this is my all time favorite place to go, this is my reason for wanting to go back to Chattanooga. If I could eat here every single day I would and whenever someone is in town this is the only restaurant that i want to take them to. Sometimes the couple that runs the place is not able to open shop on some days and on those occasions I dont even know what I want to eat when they are not open. I normally order the #21 and #1.

I came to this restaurant several times but it was always closed. Today I finally had the chance to try the food here. It tasted pretty good and I will come again next time.

Came here for dinner with a long time Chatt local who said this was his favorite Vietnamese food around and it did not disappoint! We had fresh rolls and shrimp tempura for appetizer and both were wonderful with great sauces to compliment the dish. I had a shaved beef pho while my companions went with #42 (rice based chicken dish). My pho was great and the bean sprouts for topping were fresh and crunchy. Would 100% come back here when I am around Chattanooga next! Thanks for a great dinner!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – ordered two Pho with one Rare Beef (#13) and one Rare Beef and Brisket (#15). The broth was a bit salty but quite one dimensional where we didn’t care to finish the soup. The rare beef was already cooked all the way through by the time it arrived at our table that we’re not quite sure what the difference between that and well-cooked would be. It was interesting in that there were sliced mint in the soup but the cilantro was out on the plate for you to add based on preference. While the noodle was good, it wasn’t quite enough to fill either of us.

Service: 3/5 – very efficient but not friendly at all since she seemed annoyed at any questions/requests. We’ve been to small Asian restaurants before but this is a whole different level of curtness.

Ambiance: 5/5 – clean overall with light instrumental music playing

Value for price: 4/5 – not the best pho but seemed like it was one of the only options around. Not sure why they were selling live fish as pets at a restaurant….?

She learns her customers. We come here often and sometimes occasionally but she always knows exactly what we want, how we want it, and which utensils we like. I use chopsticks and mom uses a fork. The food is always fresh and good quality!

Overall the noodles were fine. Be aware they don’t offer chili oil unfortunately. Although we did get ignored by our server the overall experience was okay.

My wife, daughter, and son in law visited here for the first time today. It did take a bit for anyone to acknowledge we were there, and it being our first time, we didn’t know if we were to sit or wait to be seated, order at the counter or at the table. You get the idea. Anyway, we did get to order after we seated ourselves, and she took our order at the table. The food was really good. My wife didn’t care for the chicken, but that was the only complaint. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our food.
We’ll go back. I’m looking forward to it.

We absolutely love this place! We have been coming here for years and it’s by far our favorite place for pho, spring rolls and dumplings.

I moved away from this area in December 2020 to a much larger city with a significantly larger Vietnamese population and many more Pho restaurants. Despite this, this restaurant remains the gold standard against which I compare every Pho experience. The Stewing Beef Pho (it used to be number 21 on the menu) here is amazing. I have never found any restaurant that surpasses it. I used to eat here so frequently that the owner knew my order as soon as I walked in. I miss this place so much! I miss how clean and consistent it was. The only thing I don’t miss is their sporadic closures or changes in operating hours. Since I moved away, I’ve tried probably 50+ Pho restaurants, and only one even comes close to this place, but none exceed its food taste and quality. Who knew the best Pho was in Hixson, TN!
