My 1st time here. I reserved a table for me solo it was ready. The Atmosphere was pleasant, quaint & relaxing. They also had music. Carlos Reyes an Awesome Musician brought his Electric Harp, Violin & Guitar & play ed all 3 instruments also a Bonga player. The food was Fresh & Nicely plated. I ordered the French onion soup & Casesar salad.

Nonni’s is a bistro on mainstreat that has a true bistro feel. The staff is personable and each have regulars that come out every weekend. It’s bright and airy, with outdoor seating and live music on Fridays. But the food. OH the food! I’ve had the carpaccio, the goat cheese dish, the cheeseburger, beef Stroganoff and now duck. Everything has been DeLIcious!! The thing that got me to write the review is the duck. Holy moly. The blue cheese polenta, the red wine demi-glace, the duck itself, all cooked to perfection with such depth of flavor! It’s expensive ($43) but it is WORTH it. Wow. Well done Nonni’s!!

I decided to try this place for my 32nd birthday dinner with my family. We had a really nice time at the restaurant they had a wide variety of drinks and a pretty diverse menu for being a small little bistro. I also enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was very baby friendly they had a restroom with a nice changing table and it helped with changing my 6 month old daughter. I thought the ambiance and food was really nice and peaceful. I got to enjoy my first glass of wine because I am no longer breastfeeding and our waiter was very helpful. My poor husband was feeding the baby and he offered to hold the bottle for us and that was very sweet and helpful . I would definitely come back to this place in the future because the service was friendly and the food was really good .
I had salmon and each one of my family members tried something different on the menu so we had a very broad and positive experience. The only downside is the inside restaurant doesn’t have room for strollers so that is why we sat outside.

First, I wish to say Nonni’s wait staff is first class.
This restaurant is unique in its setting. The restaurant has an inside dining that feels like you are eating outdoors. The front windows fully open. The night we went, Michelle Lambert was performing – her music was terrific. My adult children were excited to see Michelle perform (a local SF Bay performer).
Our group had the halibut (the night’s special), steak and frites, and croque madame. The food was delicious. The very friendly owner was welcoming and came by our table to ensure everything was perfect.
Please do give Nonni’s Bistro a try. We don’t believe you will be disappointed.

I had high hopes for this place as many recommended it as a great eatery. I thougt the ambience was great with friendly staff and good food options. However, I was disappointed at what I ordered, French Onion Soup. It was too sweet for my taste and didn’t meet my expectation. My friend had a sandwich which she loved so I am assuming it could just be my soup. I wish my soup hadn’t been too sweet. It just didn’t taste like a french onion soup. The breadroll was great though.

What a wonderful experience! Excellent food; the lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful with an excellent balance of accouterments, the cocktail was refreshing, a perfect beer pairing with dessert! The service was very attentive and meticulous with great presentation!

Tried this place for brunch and had a mixed experience. Ordered the Scandinavian Benedict, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The dish was overwhelmed with onions, and the fish had an overpowering smell that made it hard to enjoy. Definitely not the best execution of a Benedict I’ve had. On the bright side, the French toast was great—fluffy, flavorful, and well-balanced with the toppings. Service was decent, but overall, the food was hit or miss. Might come back for the sweet dishes, but wouldn’t recommend the Benedict.
