This is my new favorite Italian restaurant. Not only was the food fantastic we brought our adult special-needs child with us and they treated her like gold. It was her birthday dinner and she had a fantastic time. The owner came and greeted us himself and spoke to us like we’re part of the family. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We had a variety of items on the menu, including the carbonara, super good, a gnocchi dish, one stuffed ravioli with Bolognese sauce and one stuffed ravioli with Parmesan and cheese. My daughter also had their chocolate cake compliments of being her birthday and an Italian soda. Just want to reemphasize probably the best customer service I’ve had.

Had a really great time here for our anniversary dinner. We both got the carbonara pasta and it was so good but we definitely could have just shared! The portions are huge! We also got mozzarella sticks as well as a small Caesar salad (which was big!!) Everything tastes so fresh, authentic and homemade. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Great Italian restaurant with delicious food and very good service in St. George, Utah. Huge Texas-sized portions! We had the mushroom risotto, pesto gnocchi and a chicken and pasta dish I can’t recall the names of. My kids were offered Italian ices to take with them, as well. Recommended if you’re looking for some home style Italian food.

We had such a lovely time. Staff and owners were very nice. They kept asking if we liked our food and offered to make my daughter something different if she wanted. Everything was delicious and gave huge portions. I think very fairly priced for what you get. We never had a cheese wheel experience and it was so cool to see. Made a difference in taste. They gave us bread to go. They offer gluten free options and it tasted great. Will go back!

Wow!! Went there on April 2nd for the very first time. We had reservations for 3 at 4:30pm. From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcomed. The restaurant is not very big but that made it even more inviting. Our waitress Marissa (I hope I got the name right) was amazing! She was super attentive and always checked that everything was to our liking. The food was delicious and flavorful best Italian food I had outside of Italy. I just want to say thank you to the staff and Owner. This was my first time but definitely not my last time. Wish I could give you all more than 5 stars because you deserve it. With sincere thanks Michelle Louray

10/10 best Italian restaurant I have ever been too! My family is Italian and the food here is authentic and hit so close to home, the food was magical. Our server Kara took great care of us this evening. We also got to meet the owner, friendly and welcoming and had some rich history.

Beautiful atmosphere and table settings, we got to sit outside and enjoyed the night air with nice music and our AMAZING food!

If you want authentic, this is it!

This place gets one star because we had a very good server, she was polite and did her best with what they have to offer. The food is not traditional Italian at all, it lacks flavor and presentation. Examples, my pasta was both rubbery and hard at the same time. Not al dente as it should be but over cooked and sat out to dehydrate. Bruschetta was made with under ripe tomatoes that seemed a bit grey in color then drowned in balsamic glaze to hide it’s short comings. Sauce tasted like chef boyardee, literally canned memories were made at this establishment. Presentation, we were greeted by a child (9-11 year range) she was doing a great job my first thoughts was it’s nice to see family in an establishment. Only to have had our welcome taken over by a rude hostess in jeans and a sweatshirt, at these prices that is not work attire or a good attitude for welcoming. Please let the child do her job she was a delight. Ended the meal with terrible espresso that I had to stir with the back end of my fork because no spoon was provided. This is our second visit because the first wasn’t great and I’m all about giving places another try, everyone has bad days. If you have never had an Italian family cook for you or been to Italy you may like this place because you don’t know better. The prices are high for what they serve if the food was good then the prices would be justified. My companion had the lasagna and he said it was good but unfortunately he says everything he eats is good so I’m not sure how much to take his opinion to heart.

They had my review deleted like many others who left honest reviews, so I’m here to leave it again. This review is from October 2024.

The owner of Nona Ina is CRAZY!! This man followed us out of his restaurant and threatened us and took his shirt off like he wanted to fight!! It’s our honeymoon dinner!!! We left because they took FOREVER with everything! We started reading the reviews and saw his responses to bad reviews (they have since removed those responses) and knew we could not support him or his business any longer. He kept staring at us and made us so uncomfortable. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GUY!! I’m Sicilian and just no. Our server was very nice though, so I tipped her over 20%. Service slow. Not enough servers. Horrible owner! REALLY SAD!! We picked this place for our honeymoon dinner because we used to love it here. He’s lucky we didn’t call the police. STAY AWAY!!!

Bruschetta was amazing best in America! Live music was great – the boss was mingling with wine with guests – the entire staff seemed liked they LOVED where they worked – fantastic old school Italian spot – Emily was amazing – she caught wind that I might have been slightly not happy with a dish and she basically Insisted I change it out while simultaneously made me feel comfortable to do so – replacement dish gets 100/100 simply amazing food.
