We love this place. Everything is always delicious- especially their soups. We always bring our out-of-town guests, per their request. The owners are local and nice people. I’m
not sure about negative reviews- it sounds like they have this place confused with somewhere else. Have never had anything but excellent food here.

We have dined at Nonna Bella many times and enjoy their food and wines very much. We have also held and attended several parties in their back room section of the restaurant and each time was a memorable dinning and celebration experience! The owners and wait staff are awesome! It’s so nice to have a restaurant in Berthoud that consistently delivers excellent food and service! Thank you Nonna Bella!

I have to agree with the previous poster for the most almost 100%

The food was disgusting to say the least. They ought to ashamed of themselves to call this place a restaurant, let alone an Italian one.

I should have know right from the moment I walked in, no aroma, not even garlic. The only reason why we even stayed was because we were starved & had an appointment to keep after dinner.
When I saw other people’s orders be brought to them, not only did it NOT smell authentic it didn’t even resemble quality or quantity. Meat sauce that looks and smells like Manwich sloppy joe mix is not Italian.
I won’t even elaborate on our meal, I don’t want to gross you out.
If you want to WASTE your money, get grossed out and eat in restaurant that smells musty & moldy and is overpriced then this the place for you.

The service was good, I’ll give them that

My husband and I have been here twice now and really enjoyed it. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is quiet, dark and romantic. It is run by a wonderful husband and wife team who provide excellent service and attention, share their experiences and love what they are doing. Will definitely return here!

My friend and I stopped in for lunch at 2 pm on a Saturday and not only were they opened, the service was excellent, great Italian atmosphere, comfortable seating, and the food was delicious! We had the sausage and bean soup and not one flavor over powered the other one. My friend had a healthy, fresh salad that was colorful and tasty and I had the meatballs with Gorgonzola raviolis in a light marinara sauce and we both had to ask for more warm fresh bread to scoop up all the goodness from our plates! This is a gem in Berthoud. Ditch the same ol’ same ol’ chains and impress your date or spouse with a great meal at Nonna Bella! We will be back! Thank you for being open in the middle of a Saturday too!

I live a couple blocks away. We make sure to eat here a couple times a month at the least. I have ordered many items and all of which I would order again. Also they have great gluten free pasta.

Relatives from Florida said “they really know how to cook a salmon here.” I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and a delightful glass of Lambrusco Dolce. Cozy place indoor or out.

The food here is a total joke, but the owners and kitchen manager would like to have you believe otherwise. Nothing is made from scratch. Everything is from a Sysco or Shamrock truck, or similar. It’s all “heat and serve.” The ravioli is frozen. The spaghetti comes dry in bags. Even the marinara sauce is out of a can! Frozen vegetables. They use chicken and beef base paste from a jar. The worst I’ve EVER seen, they use Alfredo sauce from a BAG…not homemade with heavy cream, garlic and Parmesan cheese…from a BAG. ALL their food is either frozen, canned, or pre-made in some form or fashion. NOTHING IS FRESH FROM SCRATCH. These are not Chef’s, they’re not even cooks. At most they are guys that can reheat things. They actively use a microwave in the kitchen too. C’mon, really!? Stay home, boil some cheap spaghetti, and open a jar of Prego. You will get the same results and save on their ridiculous prices for what they consider food. Worst excuse for “Chef’s” and a “professional” kitchen I have ever seen. I won’t even comment on the cleanliness of the kitchen, it goes beyond words.

**I should know — I used to work in the kitchen and saw enough in 24 hours to run for my life
