Absolutely love this place. I’ve lived in NOLA for 17 years but never thought they would have such a good ramen place. I had the pork buns with edamame. I believe i had got the geki-kara aka the too spicy.

I’m in love with this place! Wonderful little ramen shop located in the garden district. The menu is small and manageable like it should be, simple to order and know what you want, with incredible flavors. I had the pork buns and kuro ramen this time around and it was outstanding! Can’t wait to go back.

I love Nomiya. This was my 1st time visiting the new location on Magazine. It’s more spacious and has outdoor seating. Ramen is always delightful! The Pork Tonkotsu ramen is my absolute favorite. I normally add my own spice to give it an extra kick ginget tea is excellent as well whole meal 10/10.

Their geki-Kara was absolutely on point, went full spice and totally worth it, the soft boiled egg was a great compliment to their very tender, almost falling apart pork tenderloin. Highly recommended for anyone local or touring the city!

Food options are very limited here so unless you really like pork I wouldn’t recommend. There is a vegetarian option for broth but it definitely left me wanting something else. Atmosphere and service was good. Our server was actually pretty darn good.

The food was good as usual however I waited long after other tables were served. It was just me eating and I ordered my food before all of them. I wasn’t sure why mine came so late. I asked for my ramen spicy and it came without spice. The waiter explained to me that the chili oil bottle is what makes it spicy but did not give me one with my meal.

I’ve had ramen in CA, GA, FL and I would not have believed that the best ramen I would have would be in LA. The best ramen hands down. I love spicy because I’m Hispanic but know better so I went with the half spicy to enjoy the broth/meal. I am so glad I went with the half because my lips were tingling and had the runny nose. Most people don’t like that but I love that level of spicy. The ratio of noodles, pork, and broth is very important. I may be the only one who prefers to not run out of pork before I can get through the noodles and not run out of noodles before I get through the broth. It was all perfect. I will definitely be returning to this spot.

The ramen over here was really good! I tried the Kuro ramen ($18.00), whereas my friends tried the Pork Tonkotsu ramen ($17.00) and the Geri-Kara “Too Spicy” ramen ($17.00). For the Kuro ramen, the broth had a very black garlicky taste to it, which is a great thing since that is how it’s supposed to taste as said in the menu. My friends said that the Pork Tonkotsu ramen was good too and that the Geri-Kara ramen definitely lived up to its’ name since it was very spicy to the point my friends had a bit of a hard time handling the spice! If you’re a person who loves spicy foods, then the Geri-Kara “Too Spicy” ramen is definitely for you! For drinks, I got the Yuzu Lemonade ($4.50)… it was so good! It reminded me of a satsuma type of flavor, very enjoyable.
