This was a small but very nice place. The food was fantastic, the owners are very friendly, & the dining area was very clean. I got the garlic chicken with fried rice & a spring roll while my wife got sweet & sour chicken with steamed rice, everything tasted great & came nice & hot. We’re already looking forward to our next time here!

Ordered takeout and had never been here before the pandemic. Came home to the saddest box of food I have ever seen or tasted. Absolutely bland. Not to mention I order a dinner order of Mongolian beef and got 9 pieces of tough beef. the noodles are dry and are basically plain ramen noodles, not lo mein. Ordered the kids sweet and sour chicken. Yuck! Not even mad they didn’t want it. What I am mad about is paying $55 for horrible food. Also the fried rice… Weird. They basically took white rice and threw burnt scrambled eggs in it. Awesome! I’ll never come here again.

Awesome little locally owned gem in Altoona! Finally found a great Korean restaurant in Central Iowa! Owners were extremely nice & welcoming, they made me feel like I was a regular even though it was my first time trying it out. Food was great as well. Definitely worth checking out.

I am completely shocked by the 5 star reviews on this place. Did I eat at a different restaurant because this was literally the worst food I have ever had in my life. I am not picky, but this was trash. My husband got lo mein and it is literally noodles doused in soy sauce. Literally nothing else. I got orange chicken, and the sauce on it is pure honey. I couldn’t even finish half of it because it was so bad. The appetizers are flavorless and seem like they came out of the frozen section of the store. I think the most offensive part is how expensive it is! I am almost tempted to ask for my money back because it was so bad.

Are you kidding??? This is exactly what I was looking for. Asian Fusion at it’s finest! Chinese, Japanese, or Korean…all perfect. And the Sapporo beer was super cold. Couldn’t be happier.

We will be back! My husband had the Cashew Chicken and I had the Mongolian Beef and they were both delicious and exceeded our expectations. The sweet and sour sauce is homemade and it is by far the best sweet and sour sauce I have ever had. The service was exceptional. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and going out to eat isn’t always a pleasant experience, but the service was quick and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We highly recommend this place. We can’t wait to go back 🙂

I don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews but I was shocked at how incredibly awful the food was. The server was pleasant but shared too many details, like how their health certificate had run out a few days ago and he has been trying to get to the health department to get the new one. The place was clean so I don’t think the cleanliness was an issue. I ordered the pork potstickers, which tasted okay, but were also clearly from a box. Then I ordered the beef and broccoli with white rice. First, the white rice looked like Uncle Ben’s, nothing Asian about it. Second, there were about five pieces of pale brown beef that frankly tasted like they were about to go bad or already had. I really did not want to eat any more, but for the price I did not want to let meat go to waste. I thought maybe it was just me but after reading other reviews about the less-than-fresh taste to the beef, I decided to leave a review. I was suspect when I arrived at noon on a weekday and the place was empty. New to town so I looked at the 4 stars without reading the reviews. I don’t know how it has 4 stars but maybe it changed hands since to favorable reviews were written.

We decided to try Nomi’s tonight. Nice that they are close to us. We ordered for pick up. They were friendly to talk with. Food was ready quick. I had the tofu and mixed vegetables, Hubby had the general tsao and we also got the Veggie spring rolls and crab Rangoon. One thing that stood out for me was the sweet and sour sauce. Its so much thicker than other places which makes it awesome for dipping as the sauce stays on your eggrolls and you dont get any dripping. We were very happy with all of it! So nice to have something so close. Give them a try! Support local, they would love to have you!

Some food are hit and miss. When I was there, I ordered the spicy beef with veggies and I’ve got only 4 pieces of beef in my entrée. I know, what the F. For the money I spend on it.. The staff was nice, but some of the food gotta go. Korean dish was good. Did the chef taste the food or check it before they served it. I know this place will not last long, if they don’t change their chef. Good service, bad food experiences.
