I came to Nom Nom Tacos & Tequila for my birthday, and it did not disappoint! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. The drinks and the food were absolutely fantastic, and honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Perfect for a celebration or just a casual night out. Nov 2nd, Day of the Dead. My husband and I went specifically to hear the mariachi band that was scheduled to play. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing as always, and the house margarita was different, not the usual lime, but a pineapple with Mescal. This is a great restaurant for date nights!!

My family of 5 stumbled across this place while traveling through town and wow we made the right choice for dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming with a really neat design. Our server, Emma, was the best we have had in years- attentive with a great sense of humor. As for the food- presentation and taste both 10/10. Everything was fresh and good flavor!

Our Department of Languages at Purdue University holds monthly faculty/staff/graduate student dinners at different local restaurants, and we chose Nom Nom for one of our gatherings. Unfortunately, this will be the last time.
When our group arrived, we were told that we did not have a reservation. This was surprising, especially since we have dined there before without any issues. The hostess attempted to accommodate us by asking us to wait for a table to open up, which we appreciated at first. However, after waiting nearly an hour, the manager approached us in a dismissive and rude manner and stated that without a confirmation number he could not help us.
This was particularly odd, as restaurants typically do not provide confirmation numbers for reservations. Rather than attempting to find a solution or take responsibility, the manager chose to speak to us in a condescending tone, effectively leaving our group stranded after we had already waited patiently.
As a result, most of us left, and only a few stayed behind to find another place to eat. Needless to say, Nom Nom has been permanently removed from our department’s rotation of restaurants.
Personally, I rarely visited even before this incident, as the food has never struck me as particularly authentic. After this experience, I will not return and will not recommend this restaurant to colleagues and friends.
Professionalism matters just as much as food quality – and this experience felt short on both.

Great food and the staff are amazing! Their Nom Nom Mojito is really good and the desserts were surprisingly good! We also had the birria tacos which was delish! The photo is of their Tres Leches cake

We love nom-nom! It’s a bit on the pricier side for Lafayette, so we save it for date nights usually. We love the elote appetizer, the large selection of hand-crafted margaritas, and all of the food is great! I always end up getting the birria tacos but have never been disappointed. Make sure to get a reservation if you are going on a friday or saturday! The vibe of the restaurant is dim and classy, but you don’t need to dress up if you go. The servers have always been nice to us. We love this place!!
