Got the Aka Nom Nom, their signature ramen, plus corn and an extra egg. Doesn’t fill the void left behind by Hiro Ramen’s closure but still really good.

I’m in town for a summit, during January, and it’s cold. I wanted something hot, soupy, and hearty for dinner. I had Mexican the night before, and couldn’t think of anything that would hit the spot.
I came to Google to see what was near, cause it was 45º, and I didn’t want delivery cause they might forget something and ruin dinner. It had to be walking distance.
Non Nom Ramen came up, it’s around the corner from the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square, and it met all the criteria.
I ordered the Karai Tonkotsu Ramen – Spicy miso with fragrant black garlic oil. Classic silky and smooth tonkotsu soup ramen for $16.49. I added chicken for $4.00 and an egg for $2.25. I had water with my dinner. Total came to $25.37
The place isn’t very big, there was one server, but he was on it. The food came out fast, it was hot, with the right balance of noodles to broth. I always like a bit of lime in my ramen, but I didn’t ask for any, it was just right!
If you are visting Philadelphia, staying around Market & 18th, give it a try, especially on a cold night!

Service is good, the space is well decorated and comfy. The ramen is disappointing. Soup is too salty, meat is few pieces but also too salty and too dry, not the standard cha siu. Definitely overcharged for this quality. Noodle also doesn’t taste fresh.

Had a craving for something quick and fast in the cold weather, so I searched for the closest Ramen spot near me and walked to it. The service here was really fast, seated fast, got my water and order put in quickly and got my food quickly. Exceptional work there.
However the food was lacking a lot of flavor. Although the pork belly is really tender, it literally melted off my chopsticks, it just had no flavor. It kind of tasted like a cup of noodles, very watery broth, noodles seemed very basic, overall just lacked flavor. It let me wanting more food as the taste was just a let down

Nice spot, tasty ramen. I am a bit posh about it as I’ve been to Japan a number of times so it’s always tough to shell out $26 for something that would be easily $6 there.
The premium pork jowl was a bit chewy, yet flavorful

All in all a solid experience would try again

Cute little spot for a quick ramen fix. The service was good, we were greeted and seated immediately. The ramen is very basic, a little salty to my liking. Nothing wowed me but just ramen.

There was only one server serving but he did a fabulous job at managing tables. It was one of the best ramens I have had thus far. Would recommend this place for hot food on a cold day!

This place is definitely a must try Japanese food place.

We came as a group of 6 people for Saturday lunch, and it wasn’t crowded so we got seated right away. I love the cozy vibe of the restaurant and the Japanese mask decorations were really cute.

I got a Shrimp buns and it was amazing. My friends got other buns and a Nom Nom Ramen, and they all said that their orders tasted amazing. The price was standard, not expensive. But the thing that made me remember about the restaurant the most was the service. The owner gave us free fried shrimp!! How nice of him. The waiter was friendly as well.

It was an authentic taste of Japanese food. Would love to come back and try more dishes!!

Ordered the Shoyu Tori (chicken) with two eggs. Very disappointing overall. The chicken was dry, the broth was thin and lacked depth, and the eggs were unremarkable. Service was impersonal. This fell well short of expectations.
