Excellent food, attentive waitstaff and a chef/owner that really cares about his menu and his patrons. This is not the old Back Porch cafe – the old reviews are meaningless. The new owner has transformed this restaurant into a fantastic dining option for the Skippack area and beyond.

I’ve had several different meals from this place, and I love each one of them. The Back Porch Cafe is under new management, and the new chef is so willing to make you happy. It is a cute little place to eat, it’s warm and the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is absolutely delightful, but the menu posted on the Skippack site is outdated. I highly recommend the salmon wraps!

There was quite a few negative reviews on Google but Yelp was quite strong. We decided to give the cafe a try and we were very impressed. The decor and history is awesome. We also very much enjoyed the food. I had the grilled veggie wrap and my wife had the mac and cheese, and both were very tasty. The owner stopped by and he was very friendly. It was a little overpriced but we would definitely go back.

What a complete waste of time and money. Wish I read reviews prior to going. We went early and when we arrived at the restaurant and there was not one other customer. The waitress acted like we were a total imposition. The food was beyond horrible and when I nicely suggested that seafood diablo is normally a lot spicier she said she’d tell the cook. (I WANT restaurants like this to survive). My daughter went in to use the restroom and she over heard the waitress bitching to the cook about us! My daughter and I left while my husband paid the bill and suggested the waitress watch what she says. This place will never survive without Robert Irvine!!!!!!!!!!

Visited June 25 for brunch. We got there a couple minutes before they opened at 11am, however no one was in the restaurant. We sat outside at a table for 20 minutes and no one showed up. Another couple was also waiting. We tried calling and no one answered…is this place still open??? They need better service if they’re still in business

This place is fantastic. The lamb loin chops were to die for. We’ll be heading back very soon. Oh, make sure you make reservations.

Very nice atmosphere, great food, and wonderful hospitality. Nola stands for New Orleans LA, they offer some great spicy options.

Expensive for what tasted like day old ribs (dry and tough), a wet and over seasoned crab cake, and store bought apple crumb pie. Very disappointing!
