The food is so good!!! And very family friendly. Easy parking for a stop with our big rv rig too.

This cafe was fun for us. The lady running the cafe, and cooking as well, was sweet as pie and friendly. We were hungry and this place was a port in a storm. This quaint liittle trailer house cafe was modestly, but charmingly decorated and set up efficiently to accommodate as many customers as possible when busy. While we were there, a group of ladies arrived for lunch , who I believe they said they are a bible study group. I suspect they frequent this delightful cafe. There was only one person working, so it took a few minutes to receive the food, but it was sooo good. We hope she/they continue with success, and maybe some time in future we can stop by, but it’s a long way from Texas.

While traveling with 7 kids, we needed to stop for a restroom break and this was the nearest open place close to us. Bryan was so nice and let us all use the restroom which was very clean by the way. I even bought a rack of ribs while waiting for the kids to finish using the restroom. The food smelled and looked delicious! I highly recommend this local spot.

Had a pork burrito smothered in homemade green chile, and it was fine. The chile was good but otherwise not much flavor. Friendly staff, it’s in a very dated trailer. I don’t know that I would stop again.

This meal is called the hungry hunter. It one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Beats any fast food option, any restaurant. Makes places like first watch seem like a waste. I stopped here and got this on my way out of Colorado. If I ever make that trip again, I am going to go out of my way to go here.

Real western atmosphere + epic western scenery. This is not the place you want to pass by. Everything is homemade and fresh to order. From sweet tea to green chili, they serve staple Colorado food in a conveniently located eatery, in between Trinidad and Walsenburg.

If you haven’t eaten here, you definitely need to stop by and grab a smothered burger or the mexican burger. All the food is amazing, but those are my go to.

This little hole in the wall is outside a RV park. The food took a little bit, but was very tasty. I got the chili covered burger and I was very close to licking my plate. My wife got the BBQ brisket and it was fine. The garlic burger was also good. Give this place a try.

Gave this place a try after reading so many positive reviews. In comparison to other restaurants along our route, it was a gamble we’re glad we took. There is nothing wrong with the atmosphere, just very “home-like,” which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t think people come here for the atmosphere. It was delicious and very peaceful. Just what we were looking for!
