We went there on Thursday night, the vibes of the restaurant were great! Our server Nicholas was horrible ! We arrived at exactly 8:01pm, we were seated by a woman immediately. The Dj vibe was amazing, even the snow crabs were boiled to perfection! Actually, the best snow crabs, taste just like they were from Cajuns, and they give you a garlic butter sauce incase you want to dip them. As far as the service, when he came over to refill my friend’s water, the pitcher has more ice than water. The glass didn’t get refilled half way before he ran out of water. We ordered at 8:09pm and didn’t get out appetizer (crab nachos) until 8:35pm, And the crabs came out at 8:41pm. My boyfriend asked to change his crabs to a ribeye steak, and loaded bake potato at 8:16pm and was told he couldn’t because the food was coming out, but I didn’t understand that if the snow crabs was unlimited I already had plans on eating atleast two rounds of snow crabs . We paid for two rounds of unlimited, and only got one round, he didn’t come back around to see if we wanted atleast another round, so that was a waste of money. 9:28pm he came back and asked us did we want more crabs, being that the Dj was saying it was time to go, and the restaurant closed at 9:30 that made absolutely no sense. We waited an additional 14 minutes for the bill, as well as the two ladies next to us with the salads, they had to go up to him to get him to cash their bill out because they got tired of waiting as well. Service 0/10 . I ordered the French 75, he said he had to take my glass because the restaurant didn’t have glasses (restaurant was also empty, and not many people drinking) when the glass was bought back to me, it was filthy dirty, the glass didn’t even get washed. This is honestly the worst customer service ever . A waste of money, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here if it’s based off service ! Dj amazing, snow crabs were boiled with just enough season, drinks were even ok (minus the dirty glass) . Nicholas was the worst server, and provided the worst experience ever. My boyfriend normally doesn’t complain, and he complained about how horrible the service was.

We had to wait a good 30 minutes for our food but we ordered a tomahawk. The food was great and filling. They have a great atmosphere that makes me want to come back. I did not know they have crab legs, which isn’t on the menu but they have them. I’ll definitely be back to try the crab legs. $60 for all you can eat.

Who knew there was a fantastic steak place in Boomtown. The food was excellent and the staff…outstanding!!

The restaurant is next to a bar with televisions to watch sports and a live band. If you want a quieter experience go for lunch.

I went here a month ago for the buffet and it under delivered. I tried contacting management and they neglected to respond. I wanted to give them a second chance for Valentines and got the 2 can dine for $100. The bisque was good, though they advertised shrimp bisque and it was crab. No complaints cause I like crab more than shrimp. Only complaint on that is we got our bisque before a guy who ordered before us. We ordered the steak and lobster. Both cold as ice. When my boyfriend asked for butter, we got chilled butter. Who puts that on hot food? We recieved the wrong dessert and while dessert was okay. The service was lacking. The male bartender was slow almost add, not remembering what needed to be done. The female bartender was better but in lack of a better words was slow. If I’m paying for a quality meal, I expect one. This was not it and I won’t be giving it a third try. Step up your game boomtown. Your manager just runs around like a chicken with her head cut off doing absolutely nothing to help her staff thrive. Only thing that was nice was the performer singing love songs for Valentines.

Also when the bartender was putting dessert in to go box for other people, his dreadlocks swiped the top of the cheesecake.

We dined on March 7th around 8pm. The service was horrible! The guy with the braids never checked on us. All he did was cater to customers he personally knew, or are regulars. I saw him get other customers what they asked for in the moment, but we had to wait a while for our beer, salt/pepper, napkins and our check! We did not feel welcomed at all. As for the food, the potatoes were nasty and the crab meat was very salty. This place should not be considered a steakhouse if the customer service and food does not meet the standard! I will not be back.

Service and atmosphere were both warm and inviting. The food did not disappoint – get the shrimp pasta on Thursday nights, you won’t regret it! They kept it festive with the decor for Mardi Gras.

I had the pleasure of eating at NOLA for Sunday brunch. Host and servers were attentive and inviting. During the meal our server was engaged with genuine enthusiasm. The food was on time, and spaced out so we could enjoy what we were eating. We ordered the salmon appetizer and the onion rings came out. The onion rings were cooked to perfection. The presentations was clean. We shared the Grilled Redfish. The fish was cooked in such a way that the fish flaked while eating. It was moist not overcooked. We took some home, then the next day heated it up. To my surprise it was just as good as it was on Sunday.
We will come back again. Staff seemed like they wanted to be there, that’s what dining is all about.

Service: 5 stars
Drinks: 4 stars
Appetizers: 5 stars
STEAKS: ZERO STARS
We got one of every appetizer. They were all amazing. The fried colliflower was by far the best.

Even though the mixed drinks were tasty there was little to no alcohol.

The steaks, You know being a I guess considered a steakhouse since that’s in the name. Even though we ordered six medium rare steaks it was hard to find a medium rare steak. Is steakhead no flavor whatsoever, Except for the little pieces of garlic on top of it. Some steaks had little to no char. Some steaks had char some steaks.Good guess….

The pork chops at waffle house had more flavor than these stakes.

If you’re looking for good appetizers and okay drinks, This place is good.

If you’re looking for a good steak save your money and go to texas roadhouse.

First time at NOLA Steak. The Filet and NOLA Strip steaks were both cooked PERFECT! Seasoning was spot on. Baked potato was giant and came loaded…delicious. OMG you have to try the beignets for dessert!!!!! No words for how good they were. Our waiter, Robbie, was very attentive, had a great attitude, respectful, and knowledgeable of the menu. The manager, Carina, came to our table to check on our experience and I REALLY appreciate that type of professionalism. Will definitely go again! Oh, and Hats off to the cook(s)!

Well, the only thing I enjoyed was the atmosphere and the company of my family. This particular night, the restaurant didn’t have any ribeye steaks. Some settled for the cowboy steak and others settled for the redfish. The cowboy steak was good, but the sides were cold. The redfish was overcooked and the sides were also cold. Oh, and they also didn’t have any bottles of house wine. Instead, the server bought a bottle of wine of her choice without giving us an option to chose a wine of our choice. That was our first and last visit.
