We had the hot and sour soup, delicious! Tofu chilli curry was incredible, the deep fried tofu is a must try. My partner had tofu ginger stir fry, which was a bit rich for our taste. But all the vegetables were really fresh and their flavours stood out.
Small, cozy place with a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely check it out.
The menu was pretty extensive with several vegetarian options. The food was well presented and it was all very tasty. We all enjoyed our choices.
The whole place appeared to be very clean, including the toilets.
A lot of nuts/peanuts used throughout the menu. So need to be very careful if you have any allergies.
Yummy food, decent portions and very good price.
Very happy all and all. Would look to go back for sure!
Only small thing is that Pad Thai was on the sweeter side, but totally understand it is done differently from place to place.
The chef even came out to deliver one of the courses, clearly delighted in seeing customers’ reactions to his inventive creations.
We had the taster menu, and there was plenty of variety for both of us. (The staff was more than happy to make vegan substitutions for my wife.) Can’t think of a single complaint; already looking forward to our next visit!
At £13-95 PP for a 2 course lunch, with a generous choice of both starters and main courses, makes it quite possibly the best value Lunch in Edinburgh, unless of course you know somewhere else?
June started with chicken Satay,I opted for the the salad, both were delicious and a great start to our meal.
Crispy duck for me with fragrant rice while June went for the green curry, both dishes got a 10/10 from us.
Service is extremely friendly with all the staff making you feel at home.
Scratching your head, thinking about where to go for lunch,I highly recommend you give Noks Kitchen a try.
