I have to say, my friend and I went for lunch and it was really, really good. The appetizers were great and I had a drink, the fruit margarita, and let me tell you….that drink was pretty strong but well worth it lol Our server was really good and the only thing that was different than the last time that I went was the portions were slight.smaller. O above all, I definitely still consider this my favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is perfection.

We came on a busy Friday night at 6pm and it was packed…. Luckily we got in right away in the lounge area and it was such a GREAT experience. I live in WA and here for work for a few days eating out for each meal. This was hands down our fav place we ate while in town!!! Seriously best Pad Thai I’ve ever had.

I’m gluten free and the Pad Thai (rice noodles) and side of rice were gluten free. So many choices being celiac here.

Cody was our server and was super quick, friendly and helpful on questions!!! Best experience. Will be back on next trip. We’ve talked all night how good the food was!

I ordered spicy Thai basil beef stir fry on DoorDash, I do not know how they have the courage for selling this meal $31 for the small portion like this, but at least I expect your kitchen stuff wash the veggies before they serve your customers, very upset that when I opened the box I saw hairs on the cucumber! First time and last time, never again!

Our server was Spencer. He was great!!!! Our food and drinks were also great. We had the Fresh Rolls, a mushroom and pork base soup, and we split the Pad Thai noodles with beef. Then we shared the Fried Banana al mode dessert..

Brought my mom while in town visiting for a late lunch. Ended up getting happy hr and trying a few things. We came in to a near empty dining rm on the bar side, and it had pleasantly filled up >70% by the time we left along with music coming on for ambience.

Crab Wontons. $9.50
4 crispy full purses for happy hr. With specks of carrot visible in the cream cheese.

Fresh Rolls w shrimp. $8.95
You get 1 thin roll sliced up for happy hr. Hard to compare to the flavorful, full ones w generous, delicious peanut sauce we just had in San Jose for half the price. A little difficult to eat when sliced in little rings without making a mess. I agree with previous reviewer that the dish should be served with far more peanut sauce. Would have turned that dish around into abundant enjoyment vs frugal rationing.

Yellow Curry w Chicken (vs tofu) w rice $11.95
Coconut rice went great w the yellow chicken curry. Not most tender chicken, but still tasty, & the yellow curry sauce was lovely.

Crispy Garlic Chicken w rice. $12.95 We chose jasmine rice for the chicken. It was also great. Unfortunately it was a bit cold by the time we got to it, though. The main dishes dishes came out only a minute or 2 after the appetizers.

Our server was friendly and attentive. The decor was very aesthetic. Presentation of food thoughtful and pretty. At one point I almost did get up to ask one of the many DoorDash delivery drivers to go wait outside if she was going to play the volume on her phone for the entire restaurant… her scrolling cut through the entire bar.

For such a special visit I’m glad we went here, although we wouldn’t come for dinner likely. Since we eat out so rarely, I would likely opt for RBC or somewhere these little details are more dialed in at this price point. Thankfully a client blessed me with a risk-free chance to try through a gift card. Will definitely recommend for happy hour, as well as the lunch special. Would like to give another go before I would invest in a dinner. Although the menu looked quite appealing!

Update 11/2: After the terrible service we received at the restaurant, we were then charged a higher tip amount than what we actually left. I called to resolve the issue, and it took an entire month for the manager, Izra (sp?), to return my call—only to admit they had no justification for the waitress altering the tip. The restaurant has shown no remorse for the fraud that occurred. I have my copy of the receipt and keep meticulous records. Truly disappointing. Bend deserves better.

We were really looking forward to dining at Noi Thai to celebrate my husband’s birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Our waitress, Paloma, was completely inattentive throughout the meal. We asked for several items during dinner, and she never brought them. Some of the dishes were unique and clearly required some explanation, but she didn’t take the time to describe anything or help us understand how to enjoy the food properly.

What was most frustrating was that I had brought a birthday cake and candles to surprise my husband. Paloma said she would cut and serve it at the end, but she completely forgot. When I finally asked about it—in front of my husband, ruining the surprise—she didn’t even apologize. She seemed completely indifferent to us and our experience.

The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the food itself was good. However, the service and professionalism were severely lacking. I also noticed other staff behaving unprofessionally, including walking across booth seats in their shoes to place glasses behind tables and even kicking things across the floor. For a restaurant with such a nice atmosphere and prices to match, I expected much better.

Amazing experience with great food, service, and atmosphere. Plating is really pretty for all the dishes we got. Our server was super sweet, patient, and gave great recommendations.

They didn’t have mango sticky rice (as its a seasonal dish), but I asked if they could sub the mango for fried banana and the result was gorgeous (shown jn pictures)! Thank you to the kitchen for being flexible and making my night!

I recommend the crispy garlic chicken (spice level 3) with coconut rice. I also enjoyed the Khao Soi which came with a lot of chicken and flavorful curry.

Fresh roll appetizer was nice size (6 pieces) and peanut sauce was delicious. Clay pot shrimp with cellophane noodles was best I’ve had. Ordered as a 2 for spiciness and that had the right amount of zing to the flavor. Husband had green curry with beef. Large bowl with plenty of meat and vegetables. Level 3 spiciness was extremely flavorful and right amount of spice to make your nose run. Mango sticky rice for dessert was a large portion. Thai coffee was sweet and perfection.
The only issue I had was being able to hear the kitchen and the bathroom is outside (and code locked).

We came here with high expectations after dining at Noi Thai in Seattle. While the experience was good, it didn’t quite measure up. The fresh rolls were light but lacked enough peanut sauce. The crab fried rice was flavorful, and the other dishes were enjoyable as well. The ambience was lovely, and the location is perfect for a stroll before or after the meal. We stopped here on our way to Crater Lake National Park and overall had a pleasant experience.
