Phenomenal food and exceptional service.
We were taken back by the absolute beauty of the building and the unique atmosphere. Our server Taylor greeted us as soon as we stepped foot inside and had us seated immediately. She was very personable and attentive and helped make our anniversary one to remember. The food was like none other. My partner and I especially liked the seasoning on the tortilla chips and how well the flavor balanced with our guacamole and queso. The birria tacos were probably the best I’ve ever had anywhere, stuffed with tender meat and generous portions of gooey cheese encased in a satisfyingly crunchy tortilla. We will definitely be back.

When I say I thoroughly enjoyed this spontaneous pop-in to Noche, it was great! I loved the food and the atmosphere! The guacamole with fresh chicharrónes was absolutely delicious! Telhe birria tacos were great for splitting with someone and a match for the guacamole sharable. Our waitress was excellent from the time we got there right through our departure. The staff was more than willing to go above and beyond to make us happy at every turn. I can’t say enough about the ambiance of this church with a kitchen built right in so you can enjoy the show of your food being prepared right in front of you. Amazing and a must visit! I will return for the food and fun! Thanks Noche, you did not disappoint!

While a Mexican restaurant inside a church may seem like a novelty, Noche is absolutely nails it. An incredible place to eat with intriguing and beautiful architecture paired with incredible food and drinks.

The staff could not possibly be any friendlier and provided perfect recommendations. The sun coming through the stained glass windows made for a really special atmosphere. The food was amazing.

Noche is a must-try for locals and visitors alike.

Had to edit my previous review because it wasn’t enough.
Husband and I brought the family here for brunch. We spent the first 10 to 15 minutes in awe of the architecture. Then the drinks came, #1 margaritas in Louisville dont do it justice. We are foodies and im a chef, we travel a lot and ear/drink a lot. The margaritas here are untouchable. Didn’t think it could get better, then the food arrived. I got the Noche Burrito with birria, and Mole, and its better than any mole I’ve ever had anywhere. Chef to chef, WOW. We are frequent diners at ROC, Ruby’s, Rapeal, and 610 Magnolia. The food here at Noche is made with the exact same passion, love, and excrement. Our server Latitia was an absolute GEM. She’s very knowledgeable of the food, drinks and service.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience and fantastic food.

Food was good. We ordered the nachos and they were delicious. Old fashioned and sangria were also really good. Our server was Tommie, and she was very warm and attentive. I feel the atmosphere has potential but they missed the mark. Prices are a little too high, $30 for 2 tacos is a bit much.

Unfortunately this did not meet the hype. Super cool atmosphere but the food was very average and the service was pretty bad. For the price, you don’t really get what you pay for.

Also, be aware that the menu online does not reflect the new, increased prices that are current in place.

Great experience. It’s an old church turned restaurant. Went with family and we all had a great time splitting a margarita pitcher and a few entrees. It’s a bit pricy with two tacos starting at $25+ but good portions and beautiful atmosphere.

Shawn was our server and he was amazing!

A meal worth repenting for at Noche Mexican BBQ Walking into Noche feels a little like stepping into a sanctuary where the hymns have been replaced by the smell of smoke, spice, and slow-cooked miracles. The restaurant lives inside an old church, and somehow the place still hums with a kind of reverence. The stained-glass glow, the high ceilings, the way voices rise and fall inside the nave. This is where sermons are traded for salsa, and where the faithful gather to worship something far more honest than most Sunday homilies. Good food.

We started with the Armadillo Eggs, a plate that might as well be the choir warming up. Jalapeños wrapped in bacon and chorizo, sealed together with Monterey cheese and a little whisper of heat. It tastes like the cooks back there decided that indulgence should be a sacrament. Crunch, smoke, richness, and just enough fire to remind you that you are alive.

Then came the Birria Tacos. Braised brisket tucked into tortillas that held on like they were guarding scripture. Monterey cheese melted into every crevice. A consommé that felt like it had been simmering since the last revival meeting. You dip, you bite, and for a moment the world gets quiet. If communion tasted like this, churches would be full again.

We also had the Pork BBQ Tacos, and they were their own kind of gospel. Smoky, tender, a little sweet, a little wild. It is the sort of taco that feels like it has a Southern accent but was raised on Mexican street corners. It works. It more than works. It sings.

Noche is the kind of place Bourdain would have lingered in. A place where the food tells the truth, the atmosphere has a soul, and every plate feels like a small rebellion against the bland, the processed, the phoned-in. You sit in an old church, you taste something bold and alive, and you remember that food is supposed to make you feel something.

If you are passing through, eat here. If you live nearby, adopt this place like your own congregation. Noche does not just serve dinner. It serves revelation.

The food was great but took 45 minutes to come out. They did have a large group upstairs so I understand. The place is beautiful and the mole was delicious. The queso for the chips was also very good. They also have vegetarian meat options!
