The steak and eggs were spot on: perfectly cooked steak, rich yolk, and that subtle Nobu edge that makes it feel elevated rather than heavy. The chicken and waffles hit the sweet-savory balance — crisp, juicy chicken with just enough sweetness to keep it interesting without going overboard. And the banana French toast? Easily the standout if you like a sweeter brunch finish — soft, flavorful, and indulgent without being cloying.
Service was sharp and attentive without hovering. Food came out on time, drinks stayed filled, and the whole experience felt seamless.
Bottom line: great service, genuinely tasty food, and a patio brunch worth repeating.
Our server, Rivers, was truly exceptional. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and delivered far beyond what we imagined. His recommendation to go with a family-style menu was spot-on. He and the chef curated a stunning selection of dishes—each one more impressive and delicious than the last. I’ve always enjoyed sushi, but that night made me fall completely in love with it.
Beyond the food, the entire staff was warm, respectful, and attentive, showcasing the highest level of service. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nobu Scottsdale to friends and family. It’s a place I’ll definitely be returning to often
Our sushi chef was attentive and made suggestions we loved! Thank you, James!
We’d definitely go again for a special occasion since this is a more expensive night out for us. Although, we’d love to go more often! Well worth it!!
Started great with some appetizers we got and for my main course I only ordered avocado roll and shrimp tempura. My bf ordered a black cod miso and it was great, but MORE THAN 20 minutes later after that and my rolls haven’t arrived yet. Sat there with nothing while my bf was waiting for my food to arrive and his food was getting cold. Mind you, it’s Sunday and dining area wasn’t full. I had low expectations with this place because unlike the other Nobus that are by the beach, this nobu was at the corner of the mall. Ocean 44 is right in the corner, just go there instead. They never disappoint with their exceptional service.
*first timers, this place is NOT cheap*
We tried the chefs menu, which is a curated menu. Your server interviews you to find out what you like and don’t like or any allergies. Based on that, they work with the chefs with your inspiration to curate a 8 course family style menu that is absolutely to die for. Every single thing I ate, the next dish took the top spot for my favorite. I couldn’t name a favorite! We added some dessert on the end and washed everything down with Lychee and elderflower martini’s and Japanese whiskey.
The vibe is just right, packed restaurant with a cool and chill lounge house playlist. Everyone is dressed up and the servers and staff are top notch! Definitely a place for a special occasion, friends dinner, date night, or just good food!
The food is good, service is fast and attentive and the atmosphere is quite trendy and upscale. I got the Nobu old fashioned cocktail which was very nice, an assortment of sashimi and rolls, prime rib, the cod and for desert I would recommend the date cake.
The price is high but not crazy, so I think it’s a good value for your money.
