Chow mein is way too salty here! Service is no frills, get in, order, and you either eat there or get out. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp combination but asked for all chow mein since I’m not a big fan of fried rice for $16.31 with card after taxes. I believe there’s a 2-3% additional charge if you use card, but I could be remembering incorrectly. Definitely call and ask or bring cash!
The shrimp was fantastic. It had the right amount of batter, wasn’t overcooked whatsoever and the shrimp was nice and bouncy. The sauce wasn’t overly sweet or artificial tasting either!
The chow mein was okay. Noodles slightly overcooked and on the verge of being mushy and as I continued eating it got extremely salty so I had to stop. Unfortunately will not be getting it again!
A ton of these reviews are saying they pack the food here.. pack where? There is way too much space in the box. Food is decent but there are other spots to try, and at $16.31 I’ll just take myself to Panda Express honestly!

I ordered a number 26 but told them chicken, It’s supposed to come with a combo and I said I would like vegetables on the side so he told me two dollars and 50 Cent extra which is fine because a combo is like $12 .50 However, they gave me beef and Instead of chicken and I got no noodles and no fried rice so I called them back. They told me to bring it back and they’ll exchange it. My sister went back to exchange it and they still didn’t give me noodles and rice so I called them again. The guy starts yelling at me not listening. I told him maybe it’s a language barrier. They were very rude to my sister as well so I told him you can have this food. I don’t want it. I want a complete refund. He told me no!!! I don’t mind paying whatever they tell me but for them to be so rude to customers that are paying their hard earned money is crazy to me. Plus the food wasn’t that great!! I would choose Mei Wei over them any day

Used to love this place ,but unfortunately it has slid downhill. Upon entering it had a foul smell. And the sweet and sour pork was not fresh . It was rock hard and bad

Their food is so delicious. You can call ahead and place your order, but typically there is a wait of 5-10 minutes. However, the food is hot and some items are made to order. The price is about $10 a plate, and a large soda is $1.50. They offer Chinese food as well as sandwiches. An absolute must try when you’re downtown.

I took my daughter out to eat there and they act like they didn’t want to service. I feel like it’s because we were black. They said everybody else and left a standing for a long period of time and then when they decided to take our order was very rude never again.

Took me long enough to review this place, I’d been here once before today, and I’m so glad I came here and reminded myself how good it is. The food was very quick to come to us, and absolutely delicious. The building was clean, and the staff was very efficient. Will be coming back.

I have only been two times so far. Both times I’ve ordered #20 sweet and sour chicken and their pork, with chow mien and fried rice. Great food for a decent price and large amount. The restaurant inside is a little dated but offers plenty of seats. Always busy.

If you see this place, you’ll automatically think, “whole in the wall”. Despite the name contradicting the main food they serve, this place has some of THE BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had! I got the #20 exactly how it came and got a side of chili oil and siracha, the bbq pork was perfectly sliced right in front of me, the rice wasn’t dry, the chow mein noodles had good flavor, and the sweet & sour chicken was PERFECT, didn’t have that old crunchy taste at all! From what I hear, the garlic chicken is good as well and the honey walnut shrimp is also a go to. I will definitely be coming back here

I’ve ate here a couple times, it’s always bomb. When I want Chinese food this is typically my first choice, always fresh, fast, flavorful. However, today I was disappointed. I was halfway done with my food and I notice what looks like a baby cockroach. I would of rather saw it in the beginning and not ate at all, I was sick to my stomach when I saw it. I am not one to leave reviews. However, this was really disappointing since I enjoy this place so much, maybe the review will help them figure out the bug problem.

Yummy!! I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food. It’s either a hit or miss for me. I was anxious so I tried it as soon as I left. I orded sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork, and fried rice. Rice is kinda greasy but enjoyed it!
