This is hidden within Shore Leave – lower basement restaurant. Very nice omakase, the service is included. Strong sake list, well priced, limited champagne and wine list, with nice options. You really go there for the sushi – they have great options. The service is attentive and the interactions with the chef are fun.

No Relation is a truly amazing restaurant. Our experience there for the Omakase dinner was nothing short of spectacular. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The service and atmosphere were truly special. It has the feeling of a genuine Omakase experience with its extremely small setting and intimate feel. Overall No Relation is an amazing experience and beats out much of the competition in Boston, especially at its price point.

Excellent experience, ambiance, and food. Every course was unique and well thought out. This was my first Omakase experience in Boston and it felt very special! 14 courses but you can opt to add more at the end – they have a list of specials (steak & eggs was wonderful) you can choose from.

Agree with other reviews especially regarding the focus on upcharge. My dinner companion also felt there was too much upcharge for almost any additional item or garnish slightly more premium. Also seems like just a couple of items on the omakase menu that is different to the regular sushi bar at shore leaves?
Thought omakase experience should be quiet and relaxing, but noise and music from shore leaves can be heard throughout the meal. The vibe from shore leaves felt more island beach bar like, conflicting to a traditional omakase atmosphere.

The best sushi omakase experience in Boston. Every piece was exceptional. It may be bit pricy, but the quality is superior. Highly recommend for anniversary or special occasion.

Came here for the Omakase experience. I really enjoyed it – one of the best I’ve been to. Clearly a lot of thought and intention went into curating this dining experience. A small, intimate setting, which I enjoyed; I went alone but had great conversation with the couple next to me. Dishes came out at a great pace and were all delicious. The whole thing was elevated but not too hoity-toity.
By the way, if you’re having trouble locating it, it’s down the stairs and connected to Shore Leave!

This was a lovely experience celebrating our anniversary. The food was great and met expectations. The sake pairing elevated the meal and was well curated. The chawanmushi was good and I’m not big on them normally.
The only odd part (I say odd because we’ve done over 3 dozen omakase and never experienced this) was the owner/ manager talking us through the courses. I’ve only ever heard directly from the chefs.
Outside of that it was exactly what you’d expect from an omakase. Can’t remember the particular course but one of them blew us away and opened up every sinus. Must try when in Boston!

My wife and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we had a truly delightful time at No Relation. Each of the 14-course menu brought a new dimension to our experience with a few standout WOW-level moments. We even ran back a couple of the courses so that we could double dip on our faves. Highly recommend!
