I ordered and that was the worst I have ever eaten . I ordered shrimp with veggies and I got four shrimp and veggies drowned in a nasty brown sauce. Any body that cooks Chinese food knows you don’t put shrimp in a. Over powering brown soy and fish sauce mixture. I have been cooking food for 42 years in a professional since. And I have never been to a Chinese restaurant where shrimp is pared with a brown sauce it’s totally covers the flavor of the shrimp . This just my opinion but I will never order food from there in the future.

I learned a good lesson the other day. Sometimes you should believe the bad reviews. I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but eating at No. 1 Chinese for the first time didn’t work out so well. I guess when we entered at the peak of lunchtime and there weren’t any other customers, we should have known something was amiss. We ordered and took a seat. The first thing we noticed was that everything in there is sticky. The table tops, the chairs, the counter around the buffet, . . . all tacky to the touch. They weren’t necessarily dirty, as my husband took a wet napkin and tried to wipe our table off, but it was still sticky-feeling. Then we noticed the flies hovering and darting around us, our table, and the buffet. One fly even landed and bit me on the arm. We were waving them off the whole time we were there. Then we got our food and it was extremely salty, so much so that we only ate a small portion and left. The lunch special was $9.19 and the portion was small, and you didn’t get anything with it. In the past at other Chinese restaurants, we’ve gotten either an eggroll, spring roll, a can of pop, or even soup with a lunch special. We got rice and the entree. The buffet was priced at $11.99 but it was very limited and who knows how long it had been sitting out there with flies swirling around it. I can’t recommend this place and won’t be going back.

i called to place an order for take out & when I asked how much extra meat would be put in the order I was told ” it depends do you want $1,$2,$3, or $4 worth of meat “when I asked how much would go in it normally and he said “about a spoonful we don’t have exact ” and I said “so is that like a 1 ounce spoon a 2 ounce spoon how does that work” he said “I don’t know about a spoonful we don’t measure” and I said well how much is gonna go on it for four dollars extra and he said about a spoonful so it’s $8.89 for a qt of Pork Fried Rice to begin with and and for a dollar extra you get a1/4 off a spoonful extra REMEMBER He couldn’t ( wouldn’t) tell me the size of the spin to begin with THIS IS BEING RIDICULOUS!!! They just lost a customer after YEARSSSS of being a loyal customer!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant.
I did not know the take out bowl was for soup only.
The young guy behind the counter comes over and starts yelling at me. Putting his finger in my face, opens my plate of food without any gloves on or anything trying to dump my bowl into my already full plate. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me my money back after putting his hands on my food. He kept getting in my face raising his voice and forced me to take the plate of food he put his nasty hands on. This place should be reported and shut down.

This is a update on past review.. This restaurant has improved in my opinion. The small staff is very friendly and hard working with pride. The eggdrop soup has been updated at least to my taste. It’s a small buffet but has fresh food being rotated and it is well attended to. Place your order at register and enjoy. I enjoy this place and hope that you do as well.

Ordered food to go and did it even though I had been inside before and it is just not clean!! Orange chicken had TONS of fat and HUGH pieces or orange rind. Husband got some kind of chicken and again had TONS of fat! Will never go back..have read some 5 star reviews with some claiming to be Chinese food experts..I beg to differ…undoubtedly they have never had good Chinese food!! Blairsville needs a good Chinese restaurant but this is definitely not it!!

Wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. But we thought the food was good. We arrived between lunch and dinner when we often don’t feel like the food is fresh but it was fresh and they seemed to keep an eye on it. Buffet didn’t have white rice, which I like. I asked for it, and that was no problem. Generally, for the price we feel it was a good value.

For the price of their buffet, they need to make sure the food is changed out. Got some mushy shrimp and tough meat before they put fresh out. The fresh was very good. Buffets are difficult to do sometimes. They need to be more aware of cleanliness of their tables and watch for flies and gnats….that is a real.turnoff for a buffet. Keep your dirty plates picked up. …please…yes I am particular!!@

There’s No Table Service, The Sweet Tea Tasted Funny, And The Food Wasn’t That Great Either. They have White Pepper (which is gross) Instead Of Black Pepper. The Dessert Bar Was Kinda Lame And Has Very Few Options To Choose From But All Very Good.

We got the buffet and it was a very small selection, the food wasn’t good at all and I left hungry. It was $16 a person and that’s not bad if it would’ve been good and had a large selection, but it definitely wasn’t worth that. I will never be back. I’m not sure how they’re even in business, contemplated if they’re a front for illegal activities or something. Lol Seriously though, do NOT eat here.
