Ordered from inside the restaurant to ovoid cold food. I ordered house special lo mein, Beef and broccoli, Shrimp, egg foo young. She said it would be 25 minutes the cost 49.00. I waited… I should’ve opened the bag and checked before I left. The only thing that was hot and fresh was the Steamed Rice and shrimp egg foo young. Other two dishes were cold looking at The lo mein noodles you can see weren’t fresh. The beef wasn’t even slightly warm. I will not return to this place again.

I called them to ask if any dishes had peanuts or nut in them. She advised me only the Kao po chicken and the chicken cashew dish did. My husband and I ordered the orange chicken lo mein and beef and broccoli, it was only way over priced for the taste. Shortly after eating I had a severe allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital. Shame on her for lying. Allergies can be very serious and deadly! That’s why it’s so important to know what’s in the food you’re eating. It a shame that you can’t trust anyone even when you ask.

I never review but I ordered here a lot but this time will be the last. I called to place an order an all white meat general Tso chicken and asked for its price. At first she was fine but then when she told me they don’t bread their general Tso chicken if it’s white meat. I was confused by this and when I asked why (because i never heard of that before) she hangs up on me. They have been rude before but didn’t let it get to me as much till today because I was just hung up on for no reason. Why does your staff get so easily frustrated buy a question? We wasn’t even on the phone for 2 min. The food here is good but with staff like that I can never see myself ordering from here again

The best General Tso’s Tofu in PGH that I’ve found, and I’m pretty particular. I’m so sad that I no longer live super close to this place. I’ve never had a bad experience with their food or the people there; they’ve always been very kind.

The foods taste was not what I was expecting. I was really disappointed with the dumplings it was like getting the cheap pot stickers from the grocery store. Had veggies in it not what I’m expecting when I get a dumpling. The general sos was ok.

First off I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always great especially today! I ordered Mongolian Beef with Chicken fried rice and let me tell you this is the best I’ve had and I am just blown away by the taste! Best Chinese around in Pennhills that’s why it’s the NO.1

I purchased the steamed triple delight, and everyone in my house was severely sick within 1hr of eating. I called to complain and was rudely hung up on. Also, they acted like they couldn’t speak English. I will never order from there establishment again and suggest everyone be very cautious.

As someone who grew up outside of NYC, I am very particular about Chinese take out. No. 1 Chinese Kitchen in the Penn Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a solid 9/10. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The soups are outstanding (tried egg drop & hot and sour) and the dumplings are on par with an absolutely outstanding garlic dipping sauce. Entrees are very good, but I’ve only tried two – egg foo young and sesame chicken. Egg foo young is on par with NYC – will definitely get again!! Sesame chicken is a touch too sweet, but I prefer more savory over sweet dishes. Will definitely get take out from them again!!
