If you live near me, you’ve got to visit Niyah’s Southern Grill. I’ve wanted to eat there since I saw it opened, and my wife and I remember and chose to stop in for our date lunch. Oh my word. The portions were monstrous… to the extent two adults could split a plate and leave full. The price will definitely seem with it when you see the servings. They serve you in to go boxes for good reason – most won’t have room for it all. And the food was fantastic. She got wings, queso mac cheese, and fries. I got pork chop bites, ocra, and beans. The seasoning and breading was fantastic, but those were the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten. Will definitely eat there again!

My wife and I are freight truckers, and during our very first visit to Huntsville, Alabama, we were determined to find a great local soul food spot. This place did not disappoint!
We stopped in for lunch, and while the food was served quickly—in about 15 minutes—the quality was absolutely delicious. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, and the mixed greens were a wonderful dish, seasoned perfectly and packed with smoked turkey. Every bite tasted like authentic Southern cooking.
Beyond the amazing plates, the people made the experience even better.
Ms. Dominique was super nice, as was the Chef (we wish we’d caught his name!). They truly made us feel welcome.
If you’re looking for real, high-quality soul food in Huntsville, this is the place. We definitely will be back the next time our route brings us through!

Niyah’s Southern Grill never disappoints. The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor, with portions that are more than generous. You can truly taste the love in every bite because everything is seasoned to perfection. The pork chop bites are my absolute favorite!
Chef Adrian is an amazing chef who genuinely cares about his customers, and I love that he named the restaurant after his daughter — it makes the place feel even more special. If you’re looking for delicious Southern cooking that feels like home, this is the spot.

This is about my third time coming to Niyahs and each and every single time the service, atmosphere, and food were phenomenal! While there today, I was only patron dining and for the life of me I cannot say why. It’s great! I love a good soul food spot and I highly recommend that everyone try it.

Every single bite was incredible! The brisket was tender, juicy, and packed with so much smoke flavor. It was probably the best I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese was creamy and rich, the fried okra had the perfect crunch, and the roll was soft and buttery. Everything on the plate was on point, from the flavor to the portions. Easily one of the best Southern meals I’ve ever had. They were right, I will definitely be back.

I visited recently and placed a to go order. This place is definitely a no-frills type place, and table seating is limited. There is a bar area as well for additional seating options. The staff was friendly enough, and I received my food in a relatively quick amount of time.

We’ve been to countless wing spots around Madison County and Niyah’s is our favorite, hands down. Incredible food, professional staff, and quick service. What probably brings us back are the sides alone. Wow. Simply amazing. Kudos to the exceptional Niyah’s staff!
