On Friday, I arrived right when they opened at 4pm. There was a little crowd, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a couple who arrived on horseback and tied up to the hitching post. (Yes, Nite Cap still has a hitching post for their guests!) You place your order upon entering and then head to the bar to grab a drink and wait for your table to be ready. When they call your name, you get seated at your table to enjoy your family style, all-you-can-eat fish fry.
The fish was amazing! It completely lived up to the hype. I was surprised that it wasn’t a beer-batter, but the batter was still nice and crisp. The famous potato pancakes were also delicious! They weren’t greasy and had crispy edges and soft centers. I understand why the recipe has held the test of time! The meal also came with tartar, coleslaw, applesauce, and bread.
Highly recommend a visit to Nite Cap Inn!

I have seen so many people wait to get on Fridays for a fish fry, so when the parking lot was not as full on a Friday night as usual, I thought I would try the place out. I was very disappointed though. One of the worst fish fries I have ever had. The potato pancakes were not great either. I.have no idea what people wait for here. Only 11 tables in the place and you cannot eat at the bar.

My friends first time to WI Super club. She was impressed. We had old fashions at the bar while waiting for table.

Definitely a neat experience, walk in order at the door. Grab a seat at the bar and relax. When the food is ready, they send you to a table in the dining room. Walleye was Fantastic, light and flaky. Gf had the baked Cod, she said it was Fantastic as well. Key lime pie did not disappoint.

This is hands down the best Friday fish fry around. Only $10 per meal. The three pieces of fish were awesome, the potato pancakes were delicious and even the rye bread was the best I have ever had! You can get fries if you don’t like potato pancakes.

Had the fish fry with potato pancakes. Dinner was really good. Pancakes were crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. The fish was lightly coated but crispy. Flaky and moist. We will be back.
