First time at this location
Purchased the Ensalada Fajita $16.89 totally $19 and change charging for Togo dish; the dish looked good, HOWEVER taking the first bite. Bam burst of spicy hot burning my taste buds, no where on the menu of ingredients does it advise jalapenos included embedded all on the salad . I’m unable to eat this dish. If it was an item included, this should of been informed and asked. Really wish it was informed I wouldn’t have wasted $20 on an uneatable meal for lunch. Sadly who puts jalapenos in a salad

Loved Margarita’s for lunch today. Service was fantastic which wasn’t easy because we had 8 people at our table. Our drinks were always filled and we were well taken care of. Food was very tasty. Will be back soon!

This downtown KC spot has it all! Huge menu with tons of options, generous portions, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely recommend trying fajitas chicken tacos.

Walking into the restaurant i was greeted with a warm welcome, was seated quickly and placed my order, then I whent to the restroom were i found a very clean and well maintained. Just a few short minutes after my return to the table my lunch arrived I chose the Durango it arrived hot and delicious this in not my first trip here and ever dish I have tried has been spot on i highly recommend a stop in for a great experience.

I got the beef flautas and they were good The salsa was good which is always a good measure to see how they are on the quality of their food if it has flavor. However the waitress was nice but she disappeared quite a bit.

Visiting from out of town and my friend recommended this restaurant as one of their favorites. It was delicious and if you’re looking for a solid meal I recommend visiting.
I got a burrito smothered in their house queso, it had a bit more punch than most white cheese I’ve gotten from Mexican restaurants, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Place felt a little too sterile inside, but other than that no complaints!

My wife and I went for the first time tonight, and were more than disappointed. The queso was basically just melted Velveeta cheese and hardened rather quickly. We didn’t eat much of it, and it certainly isn’t worth the price they charge for it. Both of our food orders were incorrect upon arrival at our table, but not enough to bring it up and cause issues. We spent a little over $50, and can say it wasn’t worth half of that in our opinion. Needless to say, we won’t be back ever.

SO YUM! – The food has always been amazing! And after being a lifelong Kansas City resident, I moved to Texas, but I am happy to say that on my recent visit back to KC – after two years away, they are just as delicious as ever! And they will rival ANY Texas places too. Fantastic take-out service to boot!

Update June 2025: The last time we went here (recently), we were again not given drink menus and I had to ask for them. It’s almost like they don’t want to sell drinks? Our queso was not entirely melted (like there were chunks of square cheese in it) and it wasn’t very hot. Our server brought us a new one. I ordered a house margarita which tasted like it had zero alcohol in it. I asked for sugar on the rim and it had sugar with salt underneath it lol. My entree came with sour cream and they didn’t give it to me. Management could really use some work, downgrading my rating due to past experience.

Went with co-workers after work and had a wonderful time. Staff very friendly. Food was fantastic. You might have a problem with parking.
