Reviews
The staff are welcoming and friendly, and very helpful.
Would highly recommend as somewhere 100% worth checking out when visiting Glasgow
The sushi was poorly prepared, lacking texture and flavor. Takoyaki lacked that umami,sweet-savoury taste and just tasted like very salty undercooked fried batter.
The tempura was even worse: soggy, greasy, and nowhere near the light, crisp tempura you’d hope for. It was honestly hard to finish.
Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for good Japanese food.
Don’t recommend; the experience at this restaurant had left us frustrated, unwelcome and tricked for money.
The portions of seaweed, sprouts, and meat are very generous.
The fried duck meat is delicious, though it has a slightly gamy taste and does not melt in the mouth as some exceptional meats do.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it as an alternative to maki ramen.
Enjoy.
Starter plates not cleared before main course arrived.
In fact, some starter plates were still on the table when we paid the bill.
Never asked if the food was OK.
Never asked if we wanted more drinks etc.
Never asked if we wanted dessert.
Probably put us off going again, although the food was excellent.
