I ordered “take and bake” spaghetti bolognese (veg) yesterday; along with an order of garlic bread. Food was great and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend Nipote’s Italian Kitchen. I am going to put in another order today. Check their website for pickup hours. Order a day in advance. You’ll be glad you did.

Really enjoyed the freshness of the food. It was a very quaint atmosphere and friendly staff. Not a large restaurant but did not feel crowded. The tastes brought back memories of fresh homemade Italian food. Can’t wait to try more from this chef.

Come in to Muskegon for a couple days at the beach and Nipote’s was recommended by all travel sites and the girls at our hotel . It a smaller place so be sure to make a reservation if you want to get it. The atmosphere is excellent as well as the service . The only complaint was the music coming from the kitchen area was off-putting for the ambience of the restaurant. As far as the food goes it is a 4 out of 5. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer and was average at best. The tomatoes were poorly cut and this shows a lack of attention to detail and a poor first impression. Take the extra 45 seconds and cut the tomatoes properly or even better dice them so they spread on the toast properly . My wife ordered Salmon Florentine which was excellent . Our son has the homemade Mac and Cheese which came in a creamy parm sauce that is simply excellent. I had the Chicken Parm and unfortunately it was sub par at best . The chicken tasted like a frozen patty and the pasta was dry . For dessert we had the Tiramisu and a Cannoli both were excellent. The Tiramisu is probably the best I have ever eaten . We each had ice tea and we’re surprise as the low price point of only $2 per drink . Over all we and an appetizer, 2 dinner and one kids meal with 3 drinks and 2 desserts and our bill was only $70 . Portions are a bit on the smaller side but we would definitely come back if we are in the area again

Nice, quiet spot for lunch.
We had the place to ourselves on Wednesday afternoon. The pasta all looked amazing but we did sandwiches because it was noon. Both our choices were great, I went with the Sloppy Giuseppe because of the funny name and it was exactly as advertised. The sub bun was soft and crispy at the same time, and the sandwich was like eating a marinara sauce on a bun in the best way. The wife went with a chicken panini which was made with shredded chicken and tasted like the freshest best homemade sandwich. We also got a couple canolli with pistachios and enjoyed them.
Patrick took great care of us and we’d love to come back and try the Pasta for dinner!

This is a pretty nice little place. The service was excellent! It is hard to get in without a reservation, so make sure to book it a few days in advance. The hommade pasta was excellent and the bread was very good. The steak was not the best in the area, but was pretty good and seasoned perfectly. If you love chain Italian restaurants, this is not the place to go. The sauces are all hommade, pure and simple (not sweet or salty), but very good. The portions are not huge, which I like, but some people may not. If you are looking for authentic tasting Italian food, this is a good choice!

First time ever visiting today and I will definitely be back in the future! The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. The food was fantastic! They also had a nice variety of wine to choose from. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

My husband and I were here for the first time tonight for dinner. They’ve only been open for a couple of months and the food, drinks, and service are absolutely amazing! The owners themselves came out multiple times and greeted the customers and offered their suggestions when needed. The wine list is not extensive, but it’s appropriate and pairs well with the food. We thought the proportions were absolutely perfect. My husband and I split every single thing and we left feeling perfect. Sorry, didn’t get a pic of the canoli that we split

My husband and I decided to have lunch here for a date day. The atmosphere was really nice and staff friendly and efficient. He ordered chicken parmesan and I had spaghetti and meatballs. The best i can say is the proteins were nicely done. Meatballs were tender and the chicken had a nice crust. The red sauce was a real let down and just took both dishes down with it. The restaurant indicates it is housemade. If it is they need to spend some more time developing it. It tasted like bland tomato sauce and even had a “tin-ny” flavor. It lacked any character…and even salt. Dish presentation was nice. The cannoli is recommended. That was good!

A great dinning experience, you would never guess it was made out of a few shipping containers, this quaint place has a great atmosphere. The menu is small but packed with alot of flavors for everyone which adds to the authentic Italian experience. I had the salmon contai and mushrooms ravioli. The sauce was full of creamy delight while it did not drowned out the raviolis which had a great texture and flavor that enhanced my palate. Our meal left us satisfied and not overly stuffed and there was room to try the cannoli. So I ” left the gun and took the cannoli” the pastrie shell had a nice cinnamon flavor that enriched the filling, at the end of the night I could have been “Sleeping with the Fishes” and been very happy.
Nipote is worth an evening out.
